Sadly, lots of people have no idea about the wonderful concerts that are performed here. Not only is the standard amazing, but the ticket prices are too! It’s a lovely space as well, with a student-priced cafe.

I visited as part of Glasgows Doors Open Day events. We met 2 guides who took us round as much of the conservatoire as possible. We were able to see 'behind the scenes' in their auditoriums as well as where the students learn and practise....More

This week's Friday lunchtime concert was the recital by Scottish Opera's Emerging Artists. What a joy! Excellent hall with superb acoustics, comfortable seats and delightful singing. What a great way to spend an hour in the city!

Each year I go to the opera that is put on at the Conservatoire in January to showcase the talent studying there . It never disappoints. The Athenaeum theatre is excellent and the student staff are always delightful
