An absolutely beautiful venue, so full of character and charm. We sat in the dress circle but I think you would have a good view wherever you were sitting. I love the staircase. There is lift access for those who can't manage the stairs. We...More

Very good venue - on street parking is usually available. Plenty of places to eat around the area if you wish to do so prior to the performance.

All appeared organised and timings went well. We had front row seats so can't really comment on the views etc. The beverages were not as expensive as I would have thought, but as you can imagine the bar was incredibly busy.

The theatre is great and is now disabled friendly since its refurbishment. The entrance is spacious with place to meet for coffee or refreshment before a show. It has managed to keep its original features throughout the rest of the theatre. Always a great theatre.

My first visit to Scottish Opera and this venue and it is a stunning theatre which reminds me of the Marinsky II in Petersburg. The opera itself (Eugene Onegin) was simply first class and they have a wide range of tickets making it quite accessible...More

Whilst this is a great theatre the bar prices are a disgrace! Don’t buy drinks at the bars, totally overpriced!

Tickets for this don't come up very often so advise to watch out for them. Full price £10, seniors £5. The guide was very knowledgeable about the theatre's history. The best bits are the staircase, the viewing point in the gods, sitting in the best...More

Yes, the building looks superb. A high level indeed of internal decor has been achieved. But, the enjoyment of theatre visits are not based on the architecture, however fine. As mentioned elsewhere, prices for refreshments, whether water, wine or ice cream are extortionate. Not pricey,...More

Can only agree with the above - expensive as you would expect at a theater - but also not really very nice, so not worth "treating " yourself on a special day out !
