Bag pipers on the square. City Hall was full of marble. Many shopping and eating establishments surrounding the area. The hop on-hop off city bus tour stops right there. Get off and take a good look around.

While on a guided bus tour of Glasgow we stopped briefly at St. Andrews in the Square and learned the history of the location. A very interesting part of Glasgow's history.

Do yourself a favor while you're in Glasgow and book a meal at St Andrews in the Square's restaurant. The food is first rate, and their beer/wine menu is good, too. If you're lucky enough to be there when they're holding concerts in the church,...More
