A main square of Glasgow surrounded by historical architecturally beauty buildings such as Municipal Chamber or Town Hall, and Merchant House. The square is notable for plenty of statues and monuments, including Robert Burns, James Watt, Sir Robert Peel, and Sir Walter Scott and some...More

This is worth seeing as it is close to a lot of interesting sites. Very pleasant if the weather is good!

There is a lot of history to be gleaned from the square and the surroundings. These relate to the how the city developed. Importantly the role of the merchants.

Nice place to just hang out or walk your dog. Lovely monuments but they offer little historical significance if you are not local.

This is a big square with many statutes and fine buildings. Glasgow just oozes Civic Pride and splendour. Glasgow is a world class city which can hold its own against any European capital
