The gardens were being refreshed when we were there with seasonal flowers and the statues were easily accessible and loaded with history. nice place to stroll around

We walked through the square and were disappointed to see the restaurant on a crane. Totally spoils the look of the square. Lots of historical monuments and even a piper to entertain us.

This is a pretty square with lots of shade and many historic monuments. I enjoyed walking around and reading the plaques as my husband sat in the shade on a bench.
