Great place to see a loud band in a small, dark and intimate way. You're right up close. It's very involving and immersive. Not at all fancy, it's very inviting. The main drawback is that the bar staff can't hear you when the band is...More

Anyone who isn't into punk metal etc will not get this place at all. It's basically like a bunker under the arches but a great venue for these kinds of bands. It's very small and got very warm quickly. If you are looking for something...More

This is the venue where I recently saw one of my all-time favorite bands, Prong. I was visiting Glasgow purely for this reason, and had no prior knowledge of the venue. I was surprised to find how small it was, but that would now be...More

One of the best venues in town. It’s tiny but the acoustics are brilliant and with the stage being barely separated from the floor, it makes for some intimate gigs.

This was my first visit here and as a venue it's ok but nothing special. I've been to several other small venues in Scotland and elsewhere and I would say that this is towards the bottom of the list. It's not bad and it does...More

Yeah its small, yeah its a bit dank - but what do want in a rock venue? The Ramones would have felt at home here. Motorhead's guitarist certainly did last night and the intimacy of the stage gives a very personal feel to any gig....More

I feel bad for the somewhat negative tone this review might have because I had an excellent night at this venue but I feel it's only fair to give a fair representation of what is in store for future visitors. I came to see The...More

The hall/bar is not the nicest, but it is not the worst, the sound was great and you can see the stage from anywhere, where there to see Purson great gig, a lot of decent pubs nearby to have a drink or food before going...More

This is good venue for a small gig as it holds 200. Good sound. I was only here to see a friends band. The prices at the bar were abit on the dearer side considering the type of venue.

Went to see grandmaster flash there last night and had a great time. Staff were friendly and welcoming and bar prices very reasonable think it was around 2.50 a drink which is good for any city centre venue. Don't usually post anything online but credit...More
