A mountain biker's dream. Everything is there on a course a little over 3 mile long. Every single obstacle and feature you can think of in a compact easy to follow well looked after trail centre. Highly recommended

One of the highest points in Glasgow, with panoramic views covering almost the whole area of Glasgow, right out to Ben lomond and beyond. There are roughly hewn foot and bike paths, but this is not cultivated parkland. It's pretty unspoilt, with a gorious deciduous forest...More

This is such a great place to go for a walk in Glasgow. Personally I’ve only took advantage of having this park in the city very recently, and I’m glad I did. The area is perfect for power walks with views and hills; with woods...More

I recommend parking in the car park next to the wind turbine and walking up-hill for about 5 minutes. You will come to an open clearing and off to your left will be Glasgow City and beyond to the Highlands. Take binoculars if you have...More

This is a lovely open area of undeveloped countryside - well, undeveloped apart from a number of mountain bike trails. No swing park, no toilet block, just a long easily sloping hillside with wooded areas. The bike trails looked good, but I'm no expert there....More

Many MTB trails, could easily spend 2 hours there. Could do with a hardtail bike. Many sharp and rocky downslopes.

This place is a small gem on a brilliant day. Walking my dog I get the chance to see sunsets and rises looking across Glasgow. Occasionally there are a few unsavory types but I've never been approached!!!

It is hard not to like it. The park is situated to the south of Glasgow and affording a spectacular view of surrounding countryside and the city. It is a comfortable mixture of various habitats(grassland, woodland, marshland, a few puddles and a brook) as well...More

As a mountainous country there is no shortage of wonderful places to take in the extraordinary views of the City of Glasgow. The Cathkin Braes however must surely rank as the number one spot for this. The area is a beautiful combination of woodland and...More
