Queen Street Station is undergoing refurbishment at the moment so lots of white wooden walls. The facade they are revealing does look impressive. You can still catch trains here although that is the subject to the whims of ScotRail.

In the final stages of upgrading, high frequency of direct trains to Edinburgh (every 15 minutes during the daytime!), Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth & Inverness.

Very close to all hotels. And connects to everywhere. No problems experienced. Would use this station again There are currently works on going outside but there is no disruption

Should be OK on the day/day before. You can’t book a seat on these trains so not worth booking far in advance. The only thing to watch out for is if there is engineering work on that line on that day. ScotRail website may be... More
