Lyn we so very much enjoyed the meaningful day of exploration and discovery with you. I particularly appreciated the research you undertook to identify the existence of my Mother's school and the only available Village photo. I was surprised with the information you unearthed on my Family and their journey to Canada. The visit to her birthplace was the highlight of this memorable day in the Glasgow area. I must also tell you the multi generations history you shared with us at Stirling Castle and Glasgow Cathedral stood us in good stead when we did a half day tour at the Tower of London. The History of the Scottish Highlands is the History of the British Monarchy. We highly recommend Lyn to anyone looking to have the freedom of a personal tour. It is one of those 'value added ' experiences each of us should consider when we head out on a travel adventure.

Amazing! Worth every penny. Completely tailored to exactly what we each wanted to see. Special out of the way gems we never would have found on our own. I got my fix of regency novel fun, and a football game at a pub for lunch and husband got his fix of borderlands adventure, literary Giants, and distillery tours. It was so awesome! She picked us up at airport, and dropped us at our hotel at the end of the day. Best 1st day of vacation EVER. Can't wait to come back to Scotland and tour again!!

We had a great day with Lyn, leaving Glasgow in the morning and taking in Stirling, Culross, the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies and the Forth Bridges before arriving at our hotel in Edinburgh in late afternoon. Lyn was very helpful in arranging the details before we arrived and was able to guide us through Stirling Castle and the other sights. An excellent way to combine sighseeing with getting between the two big Scottish cities.

Lyn provided my family of 12 with two extraordinary touring days in Scotland. She bravely agreed to our tour requests considering our group consisted of seven adults and five boys, ages nine to three. Our first tour day with Lyn was spent in Edinburgh that included all of the highlights including the castle, botanical gardens, Royal Yacht Britannia and a Harry Potter themed-stop. Throughout the day she shared her vast knowledge of Edinburgh's and Scotland's histories with us while at the same time keeping our grandsons challenged with points of interest for them. She even brought out a bag of bread when we stopped at a small lake so that the boys could feed the ducks! It was a lovely, perfect day for us all. Two days later we met up with Lyn again and she escorted us to the village of Kirkcudbright in the south of Scotland for a day of exploring ancient cemeteries and towns where my husband's ancestors lived almost two hundred years ago. She arranged for our grandsons to have a "chocolate experience" at a nearby chocolate factory while some of our group explored the village and others visited the local history museum to see what information they had on our ancestors. Again, it could not have been a more perfect day. Lyn's knowledge of Scottish history and geography seemed endless! She was fun and easy to be with, professional and flexible, and a key contributor to our lovely holiday. We will always be grateful for our two days with her in Scotland.

I engaged Lyn for the day to pick us up at our hotel in Glasgow and ultimately deliver us to our B&B near Luss, with the intention of touring the area with her for the day. One of my better ideas! Lyn laid out a great itinerary that included the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies, Stirling Castle, Culross Village, Duone Castle and Luss. Lyn has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Scotland and beyond and shares it in the most pleasant of ways. We also felt comfortable and safe with her driving abilities in a very spacious, meticulous and modern vehicle.
