A highly recommended visit, don't expect a glossy covered show dog style kennel but do expect a incredibly interesting insight into the life of dog sledding and the lovely passionate couple who run this wonderful place, my friend and I visited on Friday 6th march 2017 absolutely brilliant!

Got this as a Christmas present so we headed up not really knowing what to expect as we've never really thought about sled dogs before. Upon arrival we got a warm welcome from the owners who are extremely passionate about what they do, you get a walk round and meet the dogs who are very friendly and love the attention... More

Went here to see the sled dogs and weren't disappointed. It's a bit if a walk from where you park your car but worth the trek, not hilly. The staff were very informative and seemed family run. Don't wear clean clothes as the dogs like to jump on you.

I completed the two-day certification program where I was involved in prepping the dogs for the run, including harnessing and unharnessing them. The dogs are not domesticated, but very friendly. I recommend having some comfort with dogs before doing this particular program. Don't expect the "Disney" experience. This is a real look into the world of dog sled racing and... More

we had an amazing time and learnt so much, the owners are passionate about their dogs and their sport. After a short talk about the centre and its history we were then given a guided tour of the kennels and museum part before being taken out for a training run with the dogs. Again everything was explained to us as... More

Took my 77 year old Dad along on our dog sled experience and he loved it. This is a fascinating insight into the world of dog sled training and racing. Alan and Fiona are highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was a real privilege to be led on safari by a team of 12 digs and observe them working together. An... More

This place is like many an agricultural property, held together in some places by chewing gum, balining wire, and bits of string. Don't let that deter you though. Fiona and Alan Stewart really love their docs, and sledding, and their whole lives - and that of their son John in far away USA orbit around dogs, dog training, competition. Fiona... More

What an amazing experience - so nice to see dogs and their owners so dedicated to each other and enthusiastic about what they do. Fiona was delightful and very helpful in accommodating the mobility needs of one member of our party who otherwise would have been unable to join us. Alan was so knowledgeable about the dogs and history of... More

We went on the kennel visit and museum tour one afternoon. Most people were there for the Sleddog ride/experience but we were more interested in photograhing & videoing the dogs - especially when they were pulling the sled. Allan was clearly very passionate about the dogs and his enthusiasm shone through. Fiona was equally dedicated and caring and we had... More
