Beautiful location with super friendly hostess. We tasted several gins at our leisure after a careful, informative description. The products were very nice indeed and we ended our tour with some to take away from the well designed, well stocked shop. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

11 of us visited Kinrara for the gin tasting for my sisters 40th birthday. Tricia was an amazing hostess, she gave us a fun, informative, gin tasting experience and we all had a fantastic time. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to return.

I work in the gin industry and I was up visiting Aviemore on holiday and discovered Kinrara whilst I was up. It was such a lovely and interesting experience with lots of incredible gins and a welcoming and friendly staff. If you ever want a day out in a lovey spot with beautiful scenery and a warm and friendly atmosphere I highly recommend Kinrara distillery.

We visited mid afternoon in a time of the year when I guess a distillery would not be open to visitors, but it was open for our impromtu visit. Our host welcomed us and gave a very informative tour of the shop and expertly described the gins available together with the ingredients. Free tastings were available and happy visit was had by all. Located close to the southern reaches of Aviemore it is easily accessible and is a must visit location when you are in the area. The gins available are very special.

We were running 5 mins late and they couldn’t have been more understanding and patient. Caroline was an outstanding host and had amazing energy. We made great friends with the others on the tour. Caroline really helped us bond and they even gave us a lift up the road.

A group of 7 of us had a very enjoyable tasting here. Lorna went the extra mile in sorting us a taxi so we could all enjoy the tasting which is of course the highlight of a visit. The gins are delicious and the only problem is deciding which ones to purchase afterwards. Thoroughly recommended.

We received a wonderful gin tasting on October 22nd, 2023 and really enjoyed the morning.
Trish took care of our group of whiskey drinkers and explained everything very clearly. The explanation of the production process and the tasting itself were characterized by a very friendly and warm atmosphere. The clear explanation of the ingredients, how to serve the drink with tonic, water or even frozen fruits and the comparison of the different types, all of this made our first gin experience perfect.
This made us feel very comfortable and in good hands.
5 small bottles of gin found their way straight into our luggage.
