Didn't serve anything other than cake, was hoping for a sandwich or something else to keep us ticking along. Had to head back to the chalet for a tin of soup.

I had been told by a few people how wonderful this cafe was - but to be honest I was quite disappointed Very small area for actually eating in - although there was a separate greenhouse Did not get much of a chance to use the viewing seats as so busy - not a place to sit and relax in... More

An amazing place, with fabulous cake and attentive staff. The best thing of all is the wildlife viewing seats where we saw the beautiful red squirrels and a variety of bird life. The garden is just coming to life, and carefully kept. Thoroughly recommend this tearoom.

I visited for the first time last week with a friend, what a truly fantastic experience, the service was great with an abundance of cakes & drinks to choose from, then to the viewing gallery to watch the spectacular array of birds including a wood pecker & red squirrels which were enjoying all the food left out for them on... The man in the Tourist Info Centre told us about this place. Cake and birds - perfect for our party of 6 adults. We sat in the window looking out at the bird feeders and we spent over an hour absolutely entranced by the variety and closeness of the birds and red squirrels. I'm not a cake person but my... More

Having read some of the one and two star reviews we were almost tempted no to bother, however, we tend to make our own minds up. Fabulous cakes and a decent coffee. The reason for going is to watch the wildlife whilst enjoying sumptuous cake. Never seen 6 red squirrels simultaneously before, plus loads of birds (including woodpecker). Staff were... More

We stopped into the cake shop after a trip to the Frank Bruce Sculpture Trail. Expecting a good selection of cakes did not prepare us for the huge selection of cakes on offer! Home baked deliciousness! In addition to this we could have our coffee and cake whilst looking out onto the trees with a multitude of feeders so watched... More

This is the second time we have visited here. The cake quality and selection is amazing. Needless to say I had two again on this visit. Tea and coffee served per pot with nice china cups and a slice of cake that would hold a door open. Prices what you get are fantastic. The view out to the bird feeders... More
