We stopped here for a pit stop on the way to Inverness. The place was buzzing with plenty of activity. We stopped to visit the farm shop/deli which is excellent, service was friendly too. We stocked up for a picnic with a selection of Scottish cheeses (their range of cheeses is huge!), oatcakes, crab pate, salami, olives and some lovely deli peppers. Toilets were clean and there was an outdoor stall serving hot drinks, soups and rolls which was very popular. I'd like to go back to Aviemore and base myself near here for a weekend to try out their activities, there is so much to choose from and there is also great walks in the area.

Our instructors were fantastic. They were interested in us and committed to ensuring we had the best time. Great tuition and help so we got the best out of our time with them. Great fun, big smiles, can't recommend highly enough. Good value as well, and very respectful of Covid rules. Thanks Rothiemurchus!

Stopped for a snack and a visit to the farm and gift shop. Main cafe closed due to COVID but they were setting up a barn for indoor/outdoor eating to b able to socially distance tables. Very enterprising. Ordered burgers. Obviously were very good quality but slightly under done for my taste and not as hot as it could have been. Farm shop had good products especially the meats .

Definitely take a visit here - the shop is well stocked with local produce and interesting gift items - good social distancing in place. If you ride, do book a trek with the Highland ponies, going into the estate all the other animals dont notice you and go about their normal life, see a lot of wildlife who would otherwise hide
