The 'highland cows' were cute and the shop was packed with many cow-themed mementos and tempting fresh baked goods. This is definitely a good place to go for a quick visit for local items and snacks, if you have the time. Our subcontracted driver from "Scotland Taxi Tours" took us here instead of where we wanted to go - not sure if he gets commissions. It sort of ruined the experience because we were worried about losing time for what we really wanted to see.

We had a great experience here. Lots of fun and unique food and gift items. The strawberries are worth the stop. The clotted cream shortbread were unique and buttery. Fun place to stretch your legs, see some animals, and stick up on gifts and treats.

I was brought here by our tour guide, Amy T (through Rabbies), as a bonus stop because so many of us wanted to see the hairy coos. I had a lovely time! The farm’s animals seem so happy and cared for, and the little shop they have is wonderful! There were so many great treats and souvenirs to be bad - particularly ones that were created locally and unique from city souvenir shops. I left with so much and hope to return again!

This is a farm shop with stylish items. I wanted to see Highland cows, so I looked into it and found out that this farm shop had two. There was a black and a brown highland cow and an alpaca, which were cute. Besides us, a small group that had come in a small bus was also shopping. The shop sells a variety of locally made items, including honey, cheese, soap, and highland cow stuffed toys. If you're visiting the area, it's worth stopping by.

Such a wonderful place. Shop lady and Karen very friendly and very welcoming. My daughter has mental health issues and this was in her element. She could of just sat there all day eating strawberry’s ( from the shop ) and me having coffee ( from the shop ). Reasonable prices in the shop. The animals on offer was great. We saw alpaca’s, highland cows and was very lucky to see 2 day old lambs. If you need names….. Millie for the girl 😉

Will come back definitely. A lovely peaceful place you have there.

Thank you again

It was my dream to see Highland cows, and the Robertson's farm made it happen, plus much more! There were two cows, as well as goats and an alpaca. The cows were adorable, and the goats were quite friendly. They came up to greet us at the gate!! Once we had visited the animals, we entered the shop, which was so cute inside! They had an array of Highland cow merchandise, from key chains to plush toys, which I had to have. Many unique food items were also being sold, such as spicy cheese, fresh strawberries, toffees, etc. Although seeing the cows was at no cost to us, we indulged in the gift shop happily! 10/10 worth seeing :)

Plan ahead as they DO NOT have a public bathroom. The cows are great but they were eating when we went so did not really see much. Shop would feel crowed if more that 4 people were inside. They do have a lot of stuff but everything I saw in there I had seen other places so we did not spend much time here.

We came to the farm to visit Katie Morag, the female highland cow who my girlfriend sponsors.

The farm staff made us so welcome, even enticing Katie Morag over for some photos.

Thank you to you for making our visit so lovely and special and would recommend this to anyone stopping for a visit.
