Myself and my partner had a private surfing lesson with Finn and it was just the best!
Finn brought so much fun to our time, very patient and such a laugh. He made sure we were safe and always happy to give pointers/tips and often a helping hand to catch a good wave.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get better at surfing or just to have a really awesome experience!

We went for a rib tour with North Coast water sports and it was absolutely incredible. The skipper, Nick, was very knowledgeable about the geology and wildlife around the North Islands, we all came away having had a great experience. He was happy to take requests on where we wanted to look, but also took us to some incredible spots including caves, stacs and arches. The team were very accommodating with letting us bring our small dog on with us to enjoy the ride!
I’d definitely recommend, it was 100% worth the money spent. We will be telling friends and family to do the same tour if they visit Scotland.

The boat trip with Nick was easily the highlight of our trip for my mums 60th! Nick was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Cannot recommend this enough. So glad we did it. Thanks Nick!

The weather was against us the morning of our surf lessons and we got a call from our instructor Finn asking us if we'd still like to go ahead...yeah we did! Finn was game and so were we, and by the time we had got into our wetsuits (which are really warm, don't worry about feeling cold, we never did) and headed over the dunes to Dunnet Beach the rain had eased and the surf was up! Finn was a brilliant instructor, we were all complete beginners and he explained everything and we felt very safe. He was so great with the boys who both did amazingly (and he was very nice about my attempts). We are all still grinning from the fun we had and what we achieved. It really was a highlight of our trip. Thank you so much, we absolutely loved it!

Great experience with skipper Nick wonderful descriptions of the islands and the sea and the environment that surrounds them. A new experience going through a tunnel arch. For a mixed group of 7 to 70 we were all amazed at the experience.

We had an amazing couple of lessons with the North Coast Surf School at Dunnet Bay. We had a group of 5 children aged from 4-10 and two adults, Finn, Iona, Skye and Ryan were all fabulous!!! So incredibly friendly, helpful and fun. They really made our holiday and all of us enjoyed the lessons immensely.

A must-do when you’re travelling along the north coast !
We took a group-lesson and had
Finn and Iona as our instructors! They are so warm-hearted & enthusiastic and surfing at Dunnet Beach was incredibly wonderful as the waves came in quite frequently (suitable for beginners and advanced surfers) (: I totally recommend experiencing those warm-hearted people and surfing „on the edge of the world“
Plus: you can get really great merch too ! (: Thanks again, guys!

Wow what an excellent experience!!! Originally booked for a paddle boarding lesson but unfortunately the weather was not right for this, so Iona suggested the surfing lesson. Can honestly say I was not keen at all but decided to give it a go! And man am I so glad I did, so much fun and 2 hours passed in a flash! Instructors were such good fun and so helpful with us all!! A definite must if you are up this way visiting. Beautiful beach aswel.

My sister and I had our first lesson of surfing today! It was so amazing and Iona taught us so well, we both managed to stand up all the way to the beach. We both feel so achieved with our self and we’re amazed we were able to stand thank you so much Iona it was so amazing. Really recommend north coast water sports. Thanks 🏄♀️
