How could you say you had explored this fascinating coastline if you hadn't sped over the waves, cruised gently into towering seacaves and found yourselves surrounded by curious seals? You don't see this from the A99! All this and a generous sharing of insights about the natural and human history of the place! Seriously, if you do nothing else ... huge thank you to a vastly experienced crew who gave us this memorable experience!

Just read all the reviews on here & just totally reiterate what everyone else has said this is a must do on the NC500, me and my son doing route at the moment, William (owner/skipper) & Bob narrator were fantastic, never taken as many photos before in my life & I like my photos, take plenty of battery life & cameras, very knowledgeable well worth the money journey, would put all photos on here but none have downloaded yet

A must do activity. Great communication before the trip to ensure we were wrapped up for the cool weather. Good waterproofs provided. Knowledgeable guide and skilled helmsman and of course the staggeringly beautiful scenery. What's not to like?

We were recommended to try Caithness Seacoast by a fisherman in the village we were staying in. The tours looked good and reasonably priced from the website. Happy to say, everything lived up to and in fact exceeded expectations. We took the 90 minute trip in the RIB powerboat looking at cliffs, stacks, and wildlife. Both guide and skipper were very knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for their work. Not forgetting Adelaine at base whose communications during the booking process were ideal (and who was even kind enough to take out little dog for a walk whilst we were out!) A must if you are in the Wick area.

Took a tour today and was the best thing we’ve done on the NC500. Waterproofs and lifejackets provided were excellent quality, everything was done to make you as warm and comfortable as possible. The boat was well maintained. We saw sea birds and seals. Bob was an excellent guide and gave lots of local history and geological insight. Excellent value and an all around great experience.

My partner and I both feel this is the best thing we done throughout the whole NC500 tour. We done the trip to the whaligoe steps, the man who done our tour was so knowledgeable about the area, history the formation of the cliffs. The area is just beautiful to see and was great hearin the history of the coastline! On the tour even seen and big group of seals and sea birds also! Would definitely highly recommend this company great time and your and was only £30 or £33 can’t remember but worth every penny!!

Brilliant boat trip. We did the south trip to the Whaligoe steps and it was absolutely fascinating. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and geology that we saw. We were slightly late in the bird nesting season but still spotted plenty of kittiwakes and even a few puffins.
The amazing caves were brilliant and we even got to go in some. Plus the history of Whaligoe was really interesting too and was the only way to see the steps as they are currently under repair.
It is a boat trip on the open sea in the north of Scotland so would recommend warm clothes. Our woolly hats came in handy! As the lady at the office said, no one ever comes back too hot!
Thanks for a great trip - our kids (aged 9 and 10) said it was a highlight of our holiday.

Brilliant RIB ride tour with two great guides, really informative both on the history front of Caithness and on the wildlife front. Outstanding scenery and sea life and even thrills in terms of speed across the waves. Saw grey seals, puffins and many other sea birds… biggest bonus was not being pooped on by the volume of birds. Fantastic trip, would recommend 👏
