Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the best experiences I could have hoped for. My partner and I were stunned at the scenery and the tour guide had so much knowledge of the local area, geological insights and was funny. We saw some amazing wildlife including some seals! Was a real treat and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend, thank you!

This is a must if you find yourself in Wick. Very well organised, enthusiastic and informative guide. Weatherproof clothing supplied. We took the southern route to sea caves, sea stacks which we found to be very rewarding. Don't miss it.

You need to do this trip!
It is a fantastic experience, one you will not forget in a hurry. It is the highlight of our holiday in Scotland and we didn’t want it to end.
We recommend that you do the longer trip because we wanted to do another and wished we booked the longer trip.
We will be doing it again.
We saw seals a few times, along with various birds and astonishing views along the Scottish coastline.
You will not be disappointed.

The boat trip of an hour and a half was a wonderful experience. The cliffs, arches and grottos were beautiful seen from the boat. We saw many birds nesting in the rocks and were very lucky to spot seals. The guide had lots of interesting geological, historical and animal related facts to share with us. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

I took my family for the 1.5 hour trip along the coast. The weather could not have been better and the sights we got to see where just amazing. Really friendly people with a wide knowledge of the area and the history of this stunning coastline and the wildlife that live there. Got some great photos of puffins and the odd seal too.
Highly recommended to all as you won't forget your trip in a hurry. We are already planning a return visit to one of the other routes offered.

Wow. This is a must do in the area. What a great experience. We’re from Cornwall, so it’s not our first boat tour. By far the best one we’ve both been on. Bill was super informative, interesting and fun… his knowledge of wildlife and the area was second to none. William was driving the boat and took us safely and skilfully into caves (other boat tours we’ve been in haven’t offered that & it was awesome). This has been a highlight of the trip. Ae seen Puffins, a seal, Gullimots, a deer, shags, amongst others. Was awesome!

We just finished our two week trip in Scotland - We went to Inverness, Wick, Skye, Oban, and Edinburgh and this boat trip stands out as one of our favorites. We can’t recommend this enough - if you love birds, marine life, history, and geography with adventure and thrill, don’t miss this trip!! So informative and one of the best we’ve done!!! Such a great price and worth so much more!

We were lucky enough to go whilst the sea birds were nesting and it was the most incredible experience. The guides are hugely knowledgeable about the local area and you get to explore a piece of the Scottish coastline that makes you feel like you’re in an Attenborough documentary.

My wife and I will be in Wick in May, and we are interested in the 90min trip, but we are unsure which route is better. :-)
Should we choose the northern or the southern route? We can't decide. Help us please!
Caithness Seacoast
Wick, UK
The south route is most popular as lots of caves, birds and scenery. North tour more history. Best call a few days before and we can update you on conditions etc.

Hi it all depends on how far into pregnancy and what the sea conditions are like on the day.
