Our guide Richard was fantastic, friendly and easy to talk to. The van he picked us up in was comfortable and clean. Richard let us tailor the trip for what we wanted to see and do and even took us to a village off the beaten path. Exactly the type of tour I was hoping for!

Last minute tour around Loch Ness and surrounding area. Our guide Richard was so knowledgeable about the area that we felt we got an local insiders view. There was no rushing and we stopped to take pictures whenever we asked (although Richard stopped often at the most beautiful spots). I’ll make sure to call Richard first when I come to Inverness again!

Fantastic 5 day tour of inverness, Skye, Lochness, Mull and Oban areas with our driver Richard. Very knowledgeable and accommodating, comfortable and clean Mercedes van, always on time and lots of fun to spend a few days learning about his bonny Scotland and her gorgeous scenery! Richard is a great guide and made our trip interesting and fun. Having a private guide we saw a lot more than we would from a big bus, and he adjusted the timing of our stops as the weather and our interests changed. Highly recommend! Definitely would book again!!

We booked a tour through a 3rd party which used Lochness-Tours.com for the tour. Had a great time and saw everything we signed up for plus a couple extra sites. Our driver (owner/operator) was excellent. You can save $$ by going directly with him instead of using the 3rd party groups.

Richard lived up to all his five star reviews! We travel with him for 4 nights and 5 days. He went out of his way to customize our experience and was very friendly and helpful in every way. Very good, safe driver, very knowledgeable about the region and very accommodating. We would definitely book again and are already thinking about a trip back to this region in 2024 or 2025.

We booked a tour of Inverness and Loch Ness. Richard worked with us and our itinerary so that we got to see what was most important for us. Very knowledgeable and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and that we made it back to our cruise ship on time. Would definitely book with Richard again.

We hired the Loch Ness day trip with them. At the exact time agreed with them, their tour guide (Richard) picked us up at our place. Richard was the friendliest person we have met in any trip. He explained every single detail on the tour, and even invented stories for our children to enjoy the ride. By the end of the day, we visited all "must see" spots of the Loch, plus the "wild side" near the Loch, where we enjoyed beautiful views of the highlands landscape. As my children and husband said: Richard is the best!

We did the Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness tour. Richard was awesome! Very warm, friendly and informative. He allowed us to decide where we wanted to go and for how long and added in a trip along the coastline with a ton of great info!

We booked the Lock Ness tour with Viator from the Norwegian Star.
They DID NOT TELL US that we were appoximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the boat to the tour. Taxis are very expensive in Scotland. The cab would have cost us $80-$100 at least round trip to the tour!!!

Hi Patricia, this review is wrong, I do not do boat trips, we do private driver guided tours of the Scottish highlands.
You have mistakenly negatively reviewed the wrong company.
I have pointed this out to Tripadvisor but this false and malicious review must stay on my business.

We are an adult group of four staying at the royal highland for two nights from 24-26th April.
I am looking for a tour on the Tuesday which incorporates loch Ness and would be beneficial it it also included hotel or nearby uplift.
Also what are the cost involved
