Booked two NC750x bikes (one regular height, one low seat) for my husband and I to take a day ride whilst campervan touring around Scotland. Booking was easy and the whole process was smooth, other than Keith being delayed due to traffic that morning (beyond his control) so we were a bit later getting off than we'd hoped. He still took the time to do a thorough walk-through of the bikes with us and ensure we had kit that fitted well. The bikes themselves were fantastic: in perfect running order, ideally suited with tyres, suspension, and gearing for the riding we wished to do, and so easy to get on with despite being very different from the cruiser motorcycles we ride at home. The TomTom satnav system proved quite easy to use, too, and could be heard over wind noise even at higher speeds thanks to the excellent windscreen on the bike. We rode out through the Torridon Estate and down the Applecross Peninsula road, then up and over Bealach na Ba in beautiful weather, with the biggest grins plastered on our faces! The only spots of bother were fresh chippings on the downhill chicane of the A890 just before meeting the A87 (safely negotiated with some clenching!), and the A82 being closed from Invermoriston to Inverness...so we had to detour 'round the east side of Loch Ness, and ride even more singletrack! Keith was very kind about supplying suggestions for getting around the closure and waiting an hour past usual closing time for our return due to the delays from the detour. Fortunately the skies waited until we were back in Inverness to begin absolutely bucketing down rain on us, though we did get soaked heading to the filling station to top off the tanks prior to return! Dropping the bikes off was totally smooth and the whole experience was an absolute delight: would love to return at some point for a longer motorbike tour, and wouldn't hesitate to book through Haggis Tours again.

Thank you for such an honest and kind review. Unfortunately I did arrive around 15 mins late that day due to the railway crossing being closed and silly traffic queues due to it. It was my pleasure therefore to wait beyond closing time later to allow you to arrive back in as I feel it’s a fair deal and makes up for the later start. I truly would love to welcome you back in the future and can happily provide many more suggestions of awesome roads to traverse for endless smiles and fun. All the best, Keith

We had a great trip earlier this month with Haggis Tours, doing most of the NC 500 but with a few welcome detours here and there down minor roads. Alan was a terrific guide and know exactly how much we could do every day. Plenty rest points were built into the itinerary. The accommodation, organisation and bikes supplied were all as you would want. Alan Keith and Sam pulled out all the stops when one of our bikes (not rented from them) broke down. Thanks for a great trip. A really memorable experience. We hope to return and do another part of Scotland with you next year

Thanks for your pleasant review Peter, our main aim is to provide our clientele an unforgettable experience with fond memories to last a lifetime. So it's only natural that we are of course delighted to hear we have once again achieved exactly this. When things go wrong of course it can put a dampener on your holiday, so even though it wasn't really our issue per se, we will always opt to try and make your holiday as great as possible and if that means a couple of late nights to make things great then thats what we do. We put customer service paramount in everything we do as you have seen. We hope to welcome you all back in the future. Stay in touch Regards, Keith

We hired 2 bikes an NC750 and Vulcan 900 which were immaculate and had luggage too. It was a fabulous tour round the NC500 route. We were insured to drive both bikes so that made it even more fun. The Haggis guys were great, answering all my nervous questions and letting us know where the petrol stations are. Was a fabulous trip and cannot recommend it enough, even the rainy days were great.

From the initial email to the final day of dropping off the motorcycle the team at Haggis tours were professional, prompt in replying, and friendly. We rented a bike for the 2 of us to travel around the highlands and Sky on the NC500. We were given high quality riding gear (boots and helmets were brand new), a map and suggestions, and a motorcycle that never missed a beat!
I can not recommend Haggis tour highly enough, you can hire a bike and do the trip independently (which we did) or take one of their guides (who organize everything for you). A tip- if you do organize it yourself book all accommodation and restaurants in advance as some days looked like “Survivor” at meal times!!
Thank you Keith for going above and beyond to post me my Kindle back when I left it in one of the panniers.

Hired a bike for my wife (pillion) and I to do a self guided, 7 day tour on the NC500 with an old friend. Keith was really helpful with answering questions during the booking phase, and great at getting us kitted out when we arrived in Inverness. I opted for a Honda NC 750 which I did not know much about but it looked pretty good on paper. I have to say I was really impressed with the Honda and I think Haggis Tours are wise to offer this bike. It was really comfortable for my wife and I, and so easy to ride. The seat height is low enough for almost anyone; the front storage space is brilliant; and the bike's low centre of gravity make it nimble and feel lighter than it actually is.
As for the tour itself. Well if you are thinking about doing it, stop thinking and just book it. We had a truly amazing time. The scenery is spectacular and the riding experience whilst travelling through it was one of the most enjoyable things I've done in a long time.

Many thanks for the kind and honest review. We appreciate each and every person that takes the time to help others truly get a feel for our company ethics as we prefer to let our customers who we treat as those they were life long friends, do all the talking for us. Thank you once again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. All the best and keep it shiny side up. Keith

I’ve toured twice across the Highlands with Haggis Tours. Both experiences, the NC500 and Laird’s Tour have been amazing, well organised, the motorcycle was in excellent working conditions and both Keith and Alan were very friendly. They knew their roads and areas very well. Real professionals who I now consider friends too. I would highly recommend them if you want a good riding experience of the Highlands or elsewhere. A five star service

My wife and I hired the VN900 from Haggis tours for a day in late June. We rode to Tain and took a meandering route around the region, up the Ullapool road, past Rogie Falls before returning the bike in Inverness. The ride was a great challenge with beautiful views. Keith was helpful, honest and easy to work with in planning for the trip and outfitting us when we arrived to pick up the bike. For the minimalist American riders out there, if you are riding in Scotland, plan for the rain (Keith's words:), swallow your pride, and wear the full kit, with pants and jacket.

Absolute first class. I joined an organised tour, not knowing anyone, and was made welcome from the outset.

The whole group was looked after from start to finish, the routes were something to behold being led by Keith, who had a high standard of riding. They say that local knowledge is the best, and this was the case.

I can’t recommend this company enough, it’s a real family atmosphere, professional, and welcoming.

Just book a tour with them. My first time to Scotland and I can’t wait to get back.

Bradley, What can we say? We saw you arrive as a quiet reserved kind of guy and yet you left as loud and brash as the rest of the group. To say you came out of your shell is an understatement sir! We are glad our tour quickly put you at ease and you felt like part of the family. We prefer to see our clients as simply friends or family we have not yet met. Each and every one arrives as a client and leaves as a friend. See you again wheelie soon. All the best, All of the Haggis Tours Team

Had a fantastic tour ably lead by Kieth. He found us some great routes and guided us to lovely locations. The scenery was incredible. I've definitely returned a better rider with more confidence in challenging, rainy conditions. I wholeheartedly recommend Haggis Tours and say the NC500 tour is a must for anyone who wants to see the best of Scotland!

Many thanks Jamie… I’m a true believer in the ideology that we can always learn and improve our riding skills no matter what lever we are at. There was definitely some challenging roads and weather to get through so very well done and thank you for choosing Haggis Tours. We look forward to welcoming you back on another adventure in the future.

Spent an excellent week with theses guys. Great accommodation provided, expert local knowledge, riding roads off the normal tourist roads. I would highly recommend haggis tours to take you on the best roads with the best views, places you wouldn't go if you didn't have the guides knowledge to show you. No worrying about where to eat or what's good or bad as these guys give local opinions. Yes we could of rode round Scotland on our own but we would of missed so much, haggis tours provides that extra special local knowledge, great banter that makes the holiday better. They are so good we have toured with them 4 times now and would do it all again tomorrow if we could.
