Welcome to Outlander: The Past Lives Experience. Walk in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire and embark upon a wonderful journey; an Outlander Tour with a difference! Visit the filming locations around Edinburgh and Fife, then the book locations around Culloden and the Highlands. Travel ‘Over the Sea to Skye’, through the stunningly beautiful mountains of Glencoe and stand on the hill at Craigh na Dun. Enjoy all of this, and take a journey back through time to explore your own Past Lives too! Past life Regression is explained further in the tour itinerary. We include a visit to our Culloden home to see our 18th century antiques and a set of professional photographs of you at every location. We also offer a traditional Hand-fasting Ceremony (Tying the Knot) to couples who wish to renew their Wedding Vows whilst on tour - we include this free of charge. Your Guide wears the full Jacobite Kilt, as worn in the 1745 uprising. Awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award in 2020 and 2023.

Di and Andy, good morning from South Carolina. Hope this finds you in great spirits and enjoying life.
I cannot thank you enough for the excellent photos I received yesterday, and it stirred the many memories of our wonderful time with you. I’ve only downloaded our personal photos so far and have had time to view about half of them, and I’m anxious to see the rest. Andy, you have outdone yourself and I cannot even imagine the time, patience and efforts it takes to edit & compile those photos for us. I am truly grateful for you, your expertise and your eye for quality photography.
The memories and fun of this trip with you two and the other couples will live in my heart forever, making a positive & lasting impression. Keep doing what you’re doing because you have a winner in how you conduct your tour, care for your passengers, open your heart and soul for the love of your Scotland and Di, who could forget the “every chance I get” exposure of some delightful knee porn. 😗

This was a fantastic tour. Not only did we visit a number of Outlander filming sites but Andy and Di provided additional info on Scotish history and heritage. Everything was planned out perfectly and the small group size made the experience pleasant and personal

This tour is a great way to see the beauty of Scotland's highlands and to see many Outlander filming and book locations. Andy and Di are amazing tour guides, their passion for Scotland is contagious and you feel that in the way they conduct their tour. They know so much about Scotland and relay that information in a very engaging way. They are very personable and will happily answer any questions you may have. The tour groups are a maximum of 6 which gives you plenty of face time with them. Another example of their personal touch is that they invited my tour group into their home for tea and to view their personal Scottish antique collections. They even gave us tea/coffee/water and Scottish shortbread cookies everyday on the tour and threw in a few surprises for my tour group. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Due to a family emergency, we were only able to complete 2 of the 7 day tour. However just in those two days we saw a ton of places where the filming was done. At each place, we were shown the stills from the show pertaining to what was filmed in that exact spot. Di and Andy are wonderful guides and I highly recommend this tour.

We just ended our tour on 7/4/23 and it honestly exceeded every expectation I could have had. The time that is spent organizing every day of the tour is mind blowing and appreciated. They had me feeling like a fish out of water when we spent our last couple of days exploring on our own, they had us so spoiled those 7 days. 😂 The love Andy and Di have for Scotland just radiates in every way, and you aren’t just customers to them, you end up feeling like family. I walked away loving hot tea and shortbread cookies! Oh and don’t be nervous about going with group of strangers… I guarantee you will have an amazing time and forget you all just met that week! If you love Outlander, or want to learn about some amazing Scotland history I don’t think you will find another tour that could top this one! 💙

This is a "Don't Miss" tour to put on your bucket list. Andi and Di are awesome, knowledgeable and entertaining. I would give this tour 10 stars if Tripadvisor would let me. You will see and do all things “Outlander" plus learn the history about the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland you might miss otherwise. You will laugh, cry and marvel at the unspoiled beauty of Scotland. Andi and Di take care of all the details and driving ... sit back and have the time of your life! (If they ever do an "Outlander Part 2" tour, I'll be the first to sign up.)

This was the second tour we have done with Outlander: The Past Life Experience. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours. The hosts, Andy and Di, are remarkably knowledgeable about Scotland and her incredible history. Andy takes professional quality photos while on tour and emails them to the tour guests. This is certainly a MUST do tour.

To pick a favorite thing about my Seven Day tour with Andy and Di is impossible. They recharged my soul by showing me all the beauty and history Scotland has. To wake up and go visit the 18th century ( and earlier) castles was amazing. The knowledge of history this wonderful couple has and shares is real , like you were there in time! I tell anyone who will listen that this Outlander Past Life Experience is a must do.

I was on the Outlander tour in April of 2022 It was a dream come true..I couldn't wait to get to Scotland and believe me I was not disappointed..Andy and Di are a real treasure and so knowledgeable..so much history communicated...It was fun and a great learning experience...they are so in love with their Scotland and it shows..they are also a truly amazing couple married for years...I loved every thing about the tour..the places we were shown, Isle of Skye, Highlands and traveling with them was a thrill...thank you for the best tour ever...they even welcomed us into their home...who does that on tour? Andy takes photos during the tour and after you get home he emails you the ones he took of you in special places..they are really professional...someday I hope to maybe repeat this tour with this lovely couple...thanks for the experience....

After booking is it best to book a flight to Inverness or Edinburgh?

Hi Christa, thanks for contacting us. It really depends on which tour you're booking.
If you're booking the Seven Day Outlander tour with 7 nights accommodation included, then you need to fly to Edinburgh. The tour begins and ends very near Edinburgh airport. We do travel to Inverness as part of the tour, but we don't start or finish the tour anywhere near Inverness.
If you're booking one of the One, Two or Three Day Tours from Inverness, then you'd need to fly to Inverness, as Edinburgh is a 160 mile journey from us.

Hi Leanne, many thanks for contacting us. Our One Day Tours operate from Inverness and we take you to Culloden Battlefield, Culloden House, the Standing Stones, Beauly Priory, Castle Leod (the seat of the Clan MacKenzie), and we also visit a Jacobite Mansion that belonged to the younger brother of the Chief of the Clan MacKenzie. The older brother got the castle, the younger brother got the mansion. We call it the 'real' Lallybroch, because it's a perfect example of how Lallybroch would have looked in the book location. However, if you're looking to visit the filming location for Lallybroch, then that is 150 miles south of Inverness and a 3 hour drive. We do include this on our Seven Day Outlander Tour when we visit lots of filming locations as well as all the book locations in the Highlands, but we don't offer the filming location of Lallybroch as a one day tour unfortunately. Being based in Inverness it would be a 300 mile round trip for us. Yes, our tours run in Winter, though not the Seven Day Tour as most of the filming locations close through Winter. However, the book locations remain open throughout Winter, so Inverness based Outlander Tours are on offer all year. If you have a look on our website, the itineraries are all listed. Do you offer single day tours? Will only be staying in Inverness for one full day. Wanted to visit the Culloden Battlefield for sure.

Hi. Yes, indeed we do.
We have scheduled one-day Outlander Tours which you can book individual seats on. These start on the 1st April and run weekly from may through to mid-October. This tour includes a visit to Culloden Battlefield. More details and online booking are available on our Outlander Past Lives website.
We also offer three different one-day Outlander tours which you can book privately for a group of up to six people - again details are on our website.
We look forward to the possibility of taking you on tour with us.
