We are a small tour company offering historic and scenic tours throughout Scotland. We want our guests to really experience Scotland, so our tours include lots of hands on things to do, entertainment in the evenings and on some tours the opportunity to dress up in period costume for a special dinner. We pride ourselves in offering a personal service and want our guests to leave us as friends.

We took our 8 day Outlander trip in September and it was one of the best trips I've been on. Jan and Graham were wonderful guides who put together a very well thought out trip.
We saw film locations, as well as, sights of inspiration for the Outlander books and series. There was also a lot of Scottish history covered as well. It was incredible how much of Scotland we saw. I am most certain I would not have seen this much had I tried to plan this trip myself.
We stayed in B&Bs, hotels, guesthouses and a castle. Everyone we met at our accommodations were very friendly and helpful. If there was a problem, Jan was quick to make everything right. Many of these places are old and have no elevators/lifts so do plan on taking quite a few flights of stairs.
The food was a delight. It ranged from Sunday roast to vegetarian fajitas. Don't get me started on the desserts, sticky toffee pudding!!! We also had a few coffee/tea stops along the way. There were plenty of bathroom breaks as well.
It's really difficult to say what my favorite part was but I think I would have to go with the special surprises that Jan and Graham added to the trip. They are not mentioned in the itinerary as they are "surprises" so I'm not mentioning them specifically here but they added such an amazing personal touch to the trip.
Though we had good weather, it is a good idea to have a water proof coat and boots.
Your day is full. We have breakfast at 8:00am and hit the road at 9:00. There were a few nights where we had evening events as well. It was a pleasant flow, nothing felt too rushed.
Jan and Graham spend their day/night multi tasking. They are busy taking care of us and making sure the next spot we are getting too is ready for our arrival.
When contacting them about your Outlander Trip, it may take them a day to get back to you. They will and they will answer all of your questions in detail.
Just be patient and they will give you one of the best trips of your life!!

Jan and Graham have put together a wonderful itinerary full of Outlander filming locations, history, beautiful scenery and unique experiences. They are personable, fun, attentive hosts. We saw so much and had the perfect amount of time to explore at each stop. Breakfast was at 8 am and the days were full of sightseeing and special experiences. Evenings often included special surprise entertainment after dinner. The restaurants they chose offered good variety and delicious food (we ordered off the menus). We had various accommodations ranging from B&B's to Inns to a castle to a hotel throughout the trip. All were comfortable. Be prepared to carry your luggage up flights of stairs and pack accordingly. This was an amazing trip and I will recommend it to friends.

We went on the Outlander Tour with Jan and Graham in September! It was just wonderful!:
Personal care with very knowledgeable guides, beautiful sights, great food, “ the back roads “, and unique experiences! I’ve been on many tours, but this was the absolute best!!!

My husband and I could not have dreamed of a better trip. We spent 8 days traveling around the highlands staying in unique hotels/B&Bs and even a castle. Jan and Graham were great hosts, attentive, knowledgeable and fun. Every day was packed with new adventures, beautiful scenery and great food. I would do this trip again.
