Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The trip was organised by our host from the guest house where my wife and I were staying we went on the trip in their car we were away for the whole day.

Our host was very knowledgeable about where we should go on the trip and when we should go there.

I would definitely go on more trips with this company.

Inverness may be the gateway to the Highlands, but for me, it became the gateway to delicious Scotch whisky! I booked a last-minute distillery tour with only two weeks' notice, and my guide absolutely blew me away. He crafted a fantastic itinerary that visited not just stunning distilleries, but offered a rich tapestry of the region's history along the way.

The visits themselves were informative and engaging, but the true star was the guide's knowledge. He wasn't just reciting facts - his passion for Scotch and the area was infectious, making the whole experience incredibly enriching. From the meticulous attention to detail to the insightful commentary, it was clear he cared deeply about sharing his love for Scotland and Scotch whisky.

Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and educational way to delve into the world of Scotch whisky in the beautiful Scottish Highlands!

So much wild beauty to witness in Inverness. How to know what to see and where to go? Thank Goodness, there's Kieron of HIGHLAND QUEST TOURS.

I booked two private solo tours with him, one day to Isle of Skye and one day to Speyside. There's no better way to go than being driven by a local expert. Two full days of spectacular landscape, whiskey tasting, and all the castles you can eat.

Pro-tip: I booked my hotel stay at Kieron and Jo's STRATHALLAN B&B. It's cozy and central to the Inverness Train Station and High Street shopping district. Our tour departures began after a delicious cooked breakfast and our action packed days ended with a recap and a nightcap.

Such an excellent experience, I can't wait to go back for more.

Today's tour took us to the waterfalls on the river Foyers, on to Spean Bridge, a small village in the Scottish Highlands where the Commando Memorial is located.
Afterwards we went to
Fort William, from there by train over the viaduct known from Harry Potter to the enchanting
Glennfinnan. We found the shipwreck of Corpach, one of Fort William's best kept secrets. An old fishing boat washed up on the shore where Loch Linnhe meets Loch Eil.
Our last stop was Glencoe, where you will find many ancient waterfalls carved into the hard Highland rocks by years of erosion and the sweet Scottish drizzle

We enjoyed a very comfortable & relaxing five days at Strathallan, staying in the nearby self-catering apartment. Kieron & Jo were wonderfully welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. Kieron gave us an an impromptu tour to Fort George, where we were due to attend a wedding, as well as being a most obliging taxi from the airport and back from a family gathering at Clava Mains. Strathallan is a mere ten minute walk from the centre of Inverness and I thoroughly recommend staying there when visiting the city or wishing to explore the surrounding area, with Kieron as a tour guide.

My stay at Strathallan with Kieron at Strathallan was exceptional. He was helpful, friendly & accommodating throughout the entirety of my visit. My final day was very memorable as he organized a visit to a beer distillery, Scotch distillery and a wonderful visit to the quaint little town of Cromarty.
Many thanks for making this such a fantastic trip.
