Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I flew to Scotland to participate in a one day cycle from the Skye Bridge to the Kessock Bridge to raise money and awareness for Dream Believe Achieve Highlands and the Elsie Normington Foundation. As much as I'd like to have brought my own bike, airline fees and hassle made it an easy decision to hire a bike from Ticket to Ride. They stock decent touring bikes - Trek Domane - and had it all ready when I arrived to puck it up. I brought my own pedals, shoes, and helmet. They had it kitted out with spare tubes and tools. Nice guys to deal with. No complaints whatsoever.
Many thanks.

Arriving in Inverness for a North Coast 500 ride with my daughter, my personal bike had a mechanical failure - I thought our trip was over before it started. Luckily the great folks at Ticket to Ride bike hire saved the day. At very short notice they prepared a gravel bike for me that was perfect for the ride. Swapped all my bags, Wahoo element, and more over and off we went on an amazing trip. Superb customer service - so helpful and responsive!

I am a 76 year old man who rides an e-bike at home.
Ticket to Ride helped me see sights around Inverness without renting a car or booking a tour. I did take a guided tour of Culloden Battlefield.
Ticket to Ride provided a Trek e-bike that was better than I expected. The Bosch mid drive worked great. The battery had plenty of range.
They suggest three easy rides in their brochure, and each one is scenic with light traffic or protected bike paths. I did all three over three days.
I kept the bike overnight at my lodging in Inverness. The walk assist feature helped me get the bike up to the first floor.

In April we rented bikes for two weeks to explore the north of Scotland. We sticked mostly to the NC 500 but changed the route sometimes because of too much traffic or heavy winds. We had absolutely no problems with the bikes, not even a flat tyre on rougher trails. Beside the bikes we got panniers and useful high-vis helmets. The panniers were big enough to carry all the things we needed, but couldn't stand really heavy rains (a plasticbag inside helped). Luckily we could leave some of our stuff in our backpacks at the store and collect them after our return. We had a really good time and enjoyed most parts of the trip very much, also because the bikes were really good. Thanks alot to the Crew for their caring and many tips!

We are Glad you enjoyed your trip around the NC500, The NC500 can be a bit busy especially on the east coast on the A9 which can be avoided if you come back through the middle inland and has equally if not better scenery and it is a lot more quieter and enjoyable. The review is greatly appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Navigation can be a bit of a worry when visiting a new area and even more so when traveling under your own "steam". We've always had a small range of paper maps but increasingly customers are following route suggestions on apps like RideWithGPS and Komoot.

I'm not a great cyclist but my husband is so we decided to give the Loch Ness 360 a crack.
It was tough at times but I loved all of it! T he scenery, the quietness and the adventure was worth all the tough moments.
I highly recommend it to anyone who is reasonably fit and the bikes from Ticket to Ride were perfect.

"Tough but worth it" is a really concise description of what cycling the Loch Ness 360 is all about. It can be made a little less tough by hiring an eBike for the Loch Ness 360 but it would be no less rewarding. Thanks for the great feedback and five star review.

Thanks everyone at Ticket to Ride for helping us with our Great Glen ride, the bikes were great, the bag transfer was efficient and the lifts to the start and from the end all worked fantastically.
Thanks very much you helped make it a very enjoyable few days riding.

Glad you enjoyed your Great Glen Way mountain bike trip. It is a tough route but I think the conditions were generally favourable. Bag transfers are always a good idea on cycle trips especially over hilly terrain. Hope you can explore some more , maybe Speyside and Moray Coast next time?

Hired a bike for a few hours to ride to Loch Ness. Very happy with the excellent service and bike quality. Perfect bike for the job. Would definitely rent from them again next time I'm in the area.
