We visited Judith Glue's for a coffee having just visited the church opposite. We were in Kirkwall as part of a cruise on Fred Olsen's Boudicca. I couldn't help noticing that there was a photo of our ship in the window with a message underneath...More

Poor show from Judith Glue today. This is a lovely cafe with delicious, fresh food. However the attitude of the staff lets it down and provides a poor, and atypical, reflection of typical Orcadian hospitality. Straightforward requests for minor adjustments to dishes were met with...More

This is the second shop of one that is based on one of the islands (can't remember which). Lots of beautiful handmade and other high quality items. Not your usual "trash & trinkets" souvenir shop.Thoroughly enjoyed shopping here.

This doesn't seem to come up as a place on Orkney, but oh my, what a fabulously quirky shop. Sent two Orkney hampers from her, bought a coat and various other bits and bobs. Worth checking out.

As a local, I didn't really find anything in this shop of interest but I can see why tourists would like it. It is in the city centre so easily accessible. I thought it was a tad overpriced compared to similar items elsewhere but it...More

This is the wrong place, I mean the Kirkwall branch but Tripadvisor won't let me select it..... Amazing cheese scones and lovely lunches. We dropped in for coffee and returned for lunch!Great gifts and stylish jumpers.
