About
Inverness Kart Raceway, or IKR for short, is a purpose-built, fully modernised, indoor go-karting arena. Sporting the most up-to-date technology, our karts, track and timing systems are state of the art. Only a few minutes drive from the city centre and on easy bus routes. With a fully indoors go-karting arena we can offer our facility in all weathers, at all times of the year and after dark too.

We took our son for his 8th birthday, it was his first time solo on the track and he loved every second. The staff were brilliant, thank you Gavin, Dylan, Tristan and Joel, we can’t wait to return!

Wow what an EXCITING EVENING FOR ALL🙏🎉
We booked this for our 11yr olds birthday with his brother ,dad and grandad .
All kit looked clean ,new .
Venue was clean and tidy and they have seating areas with tables chairs and some sofas 👍
There’s also a game area with a - snooker table 🎱 - air hockey - and some other arcade games so bring some pound coins 🪙 ⭐️
⭐️🎉 Staff were so welcoming the young lady on the reception desk was the perfect host so polite and great with the kids too , I think the lady was called Logan .🎉⭐️
👍Maddison shared a go kart with our youngest son as his feet didn’t quite reach the peddles and after an initial nervous moment - him and Maddison were soon enough razzing around the circuit and he had so much fun and felt safe with her !

The two guys there are friendly ,great communication and the manager seems to really appreciate his staff and encourage them - 👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉
it was really exciting to hear about their future plans and progression to electric karts 😮👏 and also Mario kart racing track simulation games whilst you drive !!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ the kids weren’t the only ones excited about this - I can’t wait !!!!

Travelled for over an hour only to be informed the venue is closed for a private event. Clearly someone important due to the Police presence. Informed we could return at 6pm but no acknowledgment of error in failing to update website. Not impressed whatsoever and won’t return

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for getting in touch regarding your visit to us. As our General Manager explained to you when you arrived we had a very important, private visit to our facility. He had offered you a free race for you or to come back at a later time once we had returned to normal or to give us a call to book in. We do normally recommend you pre-book online or give us a call so we can guarantee your timeslot. We apologise if our website did not clearly state this but this was a completely rare set of circumstances we were operating under and of very high importance to us and we couldn't give much in the way of information to the public as it was the Prince and Princess of Wales that were paying us a visit.

Visited with my grand children on a day out one Sunday. They had a ball. Very well organised, with everything to hand. Better than some of the other tracks we have visited

Good Afternoon, i was in a few weeks ago with my youngest daughter and i could not believe how friendly the two young marshals and the young receptionist were they were fantastic
I got my wife to write there names down as we seen them on the staff wall as we were leaving there names were Kai, Harry and Dylan if the manager sees this make sure to give them a pay rise well done lads

Fantastic family visit, staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, would definitely recommend to anyone and would certainty pay another visit next time we're up in this area!

My son enjoyed a special session with five friends for his 9th birthday. Staff could not have been friendlier, helpful or more accomodating. Would not hesitate to recommend for a fun, memorable and safe experience.

My 8 year daughter attended with 4 friends for one of the girls birthdays. Was very impressed with organisation and safety of it all. My girl absolutely loved it despite having a pretty heavy crash into the barriers. Within seconds,3 members of staff were with her to check she was OK and the following day I had a phone call to follow up on her. She was absolutely fine, just small bruised knee. The care and response was so impressive. We will be back for sure.
