Cheap attraction and only takes an hour or so but interesting enough if you have some time on a rainy day. Coffee shop- although we didn't try it but looked nice. Disappointing that you visit a single malt distillery and at the end of the tour you get a nip of a blended bottle produced elsewhere. Was planning to buy... More

We visited on a non production day but John, our tour guide and the manager was interesting, informative and entertaining. I've been on many tours where the guides sound as if they are reading a script and are bored but John was excellent and amusing. Five pound well spent, good for a rainy day activity and coffee available.

I really don't know much about Scotch whiskey, but I did learn a lot at the Ben Nevis distillery. The staff was friendly and the tour was educational.

We have experienced several distillery tours in Scotland and this one was not worth our time and money. Would suggest oban 50 miles north if you want to taste the whisky and take home a souveneir as well as spending an interesting hour. The ben nevis tour was brief, not very interesting or informative aand you are allowed to taste... More

Around noon we reached Lochy Bridge near Fort William where we were scheduled to take a tour of the famous Ben Nevis Distillery. Our driver had called ahead to reserve a tour of the distillery for our group of 18. When we arrived, a nice young Scottish lass led us on our tour. We visited the rooms for each step... More

Tour guide excellent, seeing as he had to step in. Short film about how whisky came to be made then tour of distillery. Towards the end of the week cleaning takes place , so was very quiet. But tour was good and guide always asked if there were any questions and answered them all. Small cafe if you arrive in... More

Mediocre attraction. The distillery tour isn't wheelchair accessible, but the tasting centre, café and theatre are accessible. Not sure if the venue has an accessible toilet.

The movie at the beginning is a little cheesy but whimsical. John, our tour guide was very knowledgeable not only about Ben Nevis but also the whisky industry in general. We learned things we had not on any of the numerous distillery tours we have been on. For the £5 entrance fee we got the tour, a dram of a... More

We stopped on a whim when we saw the Ben Nevis Distillery. We wanted to do a whiskey tasting, but didn't know where! We found a great spot! Nestled at the food of Ben Nevis you'll find this wonderful distillery. We watched a great movie, found out God is Scottish, but then again, what else would he be? Our fee... More
