When you first walk in to this museum it looks very small but is actually quite extensive, and set out over two floors. They provide a good historical viewpoint on a number of different aspects of Scottish life, including the development, in Scotland, of the...More

The museum has some very good displays of early highland history. There are two floors and a shop near the front entrance. It is a great place to spend an hour or two.

We stopped in as part of a treasure hunt walking tour and had a lovely hour being educated. Only a small place but full of interest for all ages. Had we not had children with us we may have stayed longer though.

We found the museum by accident and we were a bit late in the day. It’s worth keeps couple of hours to visit properly and take everything in.
