Sadly, the church was closed when we tried to visit early August 2021 - presumably due to Covid-19 and social distancing requirements, although there were also some barrier railings in one corner. Wandered around the graveyard but that is rather neglected.

This church is situated on High Street, Fort Williams, and it was erected in 1817 as a Scottish Episcopal Church.
Inside the church we saw a large nave with a monumental sanctuary. We remarked the baptistery, the marvelous stained glasses, and the large organ.
In the church yard we saw a lot of ancient graves.
I think that it worth a short visit here.

I’m a lover of churches and the history they have behind them.
To be fair I haven’t visited that many north of the border, yet it was a delight to visit Saint Andrews. It stands very proud in all its glory, well looked after and houses a wonderful interior.
Well worth a visit.

We were very surprised and grateful to find this church open during the day and went in to reflect and think about passed loved ones. It is a very beautiful church and the stained glass windows are stunning. On the way out we talked with the volunteer on the door. She was really interesting telling us about the church and the town, a lovely person. If you get the chance please visit 👍
