Interesting history here, not much remains of the old fort, but interesting none the less. The great thing about this, is the monument where you start hiking The Great Glen Way is located in this park created on the historical site.

There isn't much left of the Fort, just the wall, but you can read a little about it on the information boards within the fort. A nice view down Loch Linnhe. To find it - go through Morrison's car par and cross the road.

Only the wall remains, but its a great spot to stop and look down the Loch. On a good day. Things have been added like little cannons, great for the wee ones to sit on.
