Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a very fantastic with Iain on my visit to Skye. He prepared a cycling trip at the Strathaird Peninsula around Elgol for me as a lone traveller, offered to pick me up with all the required gear, brand new bikes and equipment, explained to me particularities of the isle as we went to the starting point, and even recommended me a pub to go enjoy a trad. music session. Iain really seems to know well the Isle with its many mountains and paths, and can adjust to different adventure appetites. The off-road path featured breathtaking sights over Sleat and the Black Cuillins. The weather at the Isle changes a lot, so I advise to bring waterproof clothing, or things that dry easily, sunblock and adequate shoes.

Also, Ian was very encouraged to do all the explanations in Spanish, as he is fluent in both French and Spanish! Very adequate for people that don't speak English and do speak these other 2 languages.

Enjoyed a great half day adventure round the Boreraig/Suisnish loop in the South of Skye with some amazing views over to the Cuillin and Small Isles. Great singletrack descent down to the coast, hardest bits about red in standard, and a short section along the coast was unrideable, by us anyway, but worth it for the feel of being away from it all. Bikes were well maintained and Iain set a good pace with enough stops to catch our breath, and admire the views!
