Stunning, fabulous views, quite haunting with scenery of hills and loch. Good team room and guest shop. Disappointed could not take photos inside. Not sure why? Recommend visit.

This review would all be 5 stars if it wasn’t for one (two, actually!) important problem(s). I should say that I am a very proud Scot and will use all and every chance I have to promote my incredible country. I am, however, so disappointed...More

Give 2 hours to tour castle & immediate surroundings. Clan Macrea has done an amazing job restoring this site. Just enough history, mystery and beauty.

When we stopped it was closed but the walk around the grounds was nice. The best photos we took were from the cafe and rest area about a half mile down the road.

We visited this castle after seeing pictures of it. The inside is just and beautiful as the outside. Ancestors have fully restore this home in the early 20th century. Beautiful inside and out.
