Lovely beach

Great for walking along. Good promenade. We saw the Northern Lights here as the firth provides lots of dark sky at night.

Quite simply one of the prettiest beaches we've been too and certainly the cleanest! Not sure we saw any rubbish whatsoever and I'm guessing that's down to the fact the locals take great pride in their beach.

Probably one of the nicest beaches I've been on! Close to the town and really wide open! The stretch from the harbour to tje culbin forest is particularly lovely.

Went to Nairn in October half term break and the beach was behind the caravan park. It is long and flat and white and you can't see the end of it, it's so long. My daughter was 3 at the time and she could just run, there was not way she was going to be out of sight. Will definitely... More

Lovely clean sands, great walks and lovely sunsets. The children loved it as they had such great freedom

I enjoyed walking along this beach however we found a far better beach a little drive up the coast later that day (the name I have forgotten). No litter and all dogs were under control. All positive things to say about the visit and I would visit again and explore further in warmer weather.

Large beach, very clean sand and sea, shells and dunes. A quiet delight! The harbour is interesting and there are lots of long walks available. Cold winds in winter of course, but wrap up well and winter is a good time to visit, not disregard.

Nairn beach stretches for miles east and west of the shoreline. The east side is bordered by Culbin Forest which has trails to explore. The views of the Black Isle are pure magic.

Nairn Beach is easily accessible by public transport. You can take either the train or the bus from Inverness. Train journeys take just about 15 minutes and cost about £6 one-way. There are two buses from Inverness, the No 10 and No 11. The journey takes a little longer. The bus station is a little closer to the beach (about... More
