Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A nice landscaped garden so named because of all the biblical references. Aside from the plants, there’s scriptural quotations and statues of biblical figures. To be honest, I thought most of the statues were poorly sculpted, especially Samson. Otherwise, the gardens are nice and Elgin Cathedral makes a nice backdrop.

Such a lovely little garden to wander around - all for the price of whatever donation you can give. The flowers were lovely today. We took the dog without any issues. A lovely lace for a picnic or just to stretch the legs and pass an hour in peace.

Right across a side street from the Cathedral grounds is a public Biblical Garden. It’s very pretty, and includes plants mentioned in the Bible. There were some lovely statues – one had been vandalized. It badly needed weeding. It’s a peaceful place to walk.

After visiting Elgin Cathedral, we decided to visit the Biblical gardens and what a great decision that was! At this time of year (July) all the flowers are out and it looks amazing! It is also nice to know that the folk who are studying at the local university help maintain the garden. Very colourful and had a lovely and relaxing time. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area!

The garden is very nice but it need a bit of work as in some places its very dirty. There is a nice pond with a frog and a toad in it. It has 110 species of plants in it which are apparently featured in the bible.

A hidden gem by the side of Elgin Cathedral, a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquillity with some amazing plants, shrubs and trees, along with some very interesting sculptures. Well worth a visit.

Lovely peaceful place. The garden is set with vista's and statues taken from Bible stories. It is free to visit but you can leave a donnation loved the metal frame outline of Elgin Cathedral. Parking is on the roadside opposite the historic Cathedral.

This garden features 110 plants mentioned in the Bible; its tracks are laid out in the shape of a Celtic cross. There are statues and flower beds representing Biblical stories and many benches among the flowers and trees to sit and relas. A great place to wander in during the summer.

Peaceful place to read or sit and think. I like to take a stroll in the spring/summer here. Statues are very run down but flowers are pretty.

I was fortunate to be visiting Elgin with a local friend, and she took me to view these gardens. I feel they are like a hidden gem. Well laid out gardens, accessable to wheelchairs, and very pleasant bible sayings situated throughout the grounds. Very peaceful surroundings, with the added bonus of the cathedral ruins opposite.
