We had a 2 hours trip which included one hour time at Urquhart Castle. The boat is Nice, the staff was very Nice, and we could choose if we wanted to sit outside or inside. There were also a bar on the boat.

Had a great time on the Jacobites Tour, we selected the temptation tour that took us from the Inverness bustop and was 3 hours well spent. With a special thanks to our tour guide Alan who did a fabulous job of keep us safe on the road with lots of facts and information about the place and a touch of humour! I would say it’s a great experience and definitely worth going for if you are in Inverness, bus was clean and we also went on a cruise to the urquhart Castel which had a great view of the Loch. Definitely worth the money!

I randomly decided for a tour to Loch Ness and the castle overseeing it. The entire journey was very enlightening and our driver and guide, I think that his name was Ian, also possessed a reportoire of jokes that were actually funny.

The loch itseld of course needs no explanation, it's gorgeous and the boat taking you to the castle offers you great views.
The castle itself is beautiful, impressive, and a gem.
If you're looking for a comfortable tour from Inverness to the loch, I'd recommend this one.

I spent an enjoyable two and a half hours with Kevin, resplendent in his uniform. This guy really cares about his subject and has identified that for a city of its size, Perth currently has little to offer in the way of guided tours. Fortunately, Kevin is almost single-handedly attempting to address this - hopefully the City's fathers will recognize this shortcoming and promote/allow the emergence of more historical walking tours.

This tour is great value in that you are never pulling out your wallet, the theme is kept up throughout the tour by an enthusiastic and rather eccentric guide who is passionate on the subject.
You are never rushed and while not necessarily an unbiased account of history it does open your eyes to some incredible history in the area that would otherwise not be seen.
If you want to see some interesting historical places from a different viewpoint then this might just be the thing for you.
Would recommend for outlander fans, those interested in the Jacobite period (esp 1745) or even those wanting something different.

My wife and I spent the most fun and enlightening day with our expert guide Kevin. We visited all around Perthshire and saw a completely different side to the area. The action and romance contained around all the sites connected with Bonnie Prince Charlie, kept us enthralled.

Can't wait to attend the dinner next time we visit.
Highly recommended.

A Evening of Fun & Education hosted by his Master himself - Kevin ( Alba Hassar ).
Dining in the very same room as Bonnie Prince Charlie gathered his commanders - Step back in time over a delicious 4 course meal washed down with a "special selected" Whisky. Kevin re in acted the scene - dressed in full uniform - I "felt" part of the "battle" - The room was magnificently decorated with a "candle light" atmosphere - The drones of bagpipes in the back ground !! This is UNIQUE <>
This is a MUST for anyone visiting Scotland. I can,t wait for the full tour this summer:

We pre-booked our tour to Loch Ness with Jacobite tours and it didn't disappoint! Our tour guide Mike was fantastic from start to finish.

The coach trip to the Loch was lovely with lots to see, the trip included the boat trip out to Urquhart castle which are lovely ruins on the edge of the Loch.

We then jumped back on the coach to visit the Loch Ness visitors centre which was nice. Very quiet but I presume that's because it's January. Can imagine the summer is much busier. Lovely day out and arrived back for lunch at the castle tavern!
