Lovely garden for a stroll - great selection of Rhododendrons and Meconopsis interspersed with an amazing array of Candleabra Primulas with some beautiful specimen Acers thrown in for good measure. Little tea/coffee shop good value with home made scones and jam

Special place, plants to delight all ! All within a short walk. walking distance to town centre, excellent tearoom, with inexpensive delicious scones and cream cake. Friendly knowledgable horticultural staff, who are always willing to answer questions. Variety of plant for sale.

We went on a Brown Sign trip where you stop at any national trust/ tourist spots. There is a website for inspiration too. We passed this place and realised it wasn’t free so signed up to the National Trust, lovely gardens which are beautifully kept....More

I would say limited. A lot of the paths are suitable but other bits could've quite difficult.
