Praveen & Swarna are a lovely couple and delighted they are running such a great business, the concept is great and my partner and myself really enjoyed the class hosted by Swarna who was informative and a very good teacher, the good we cooked was delightful and although I have cooked a lot of Indian food over the years this top it to another level. I’m working my way through the recipes which are included. A super day and I can’t recommend the experience enough… enjoy!!

Had a throughly enjoyable day at the cook school. There were 11 of us and we all had an opportunity to try our hand at cooking some delicious dishes. We learnt all about spices and how to blend them into the Curries. A really informative, fun day. Swarna with her humour, knowledge and expertise made it a really memorable event. Thank you.

Had a great day at the cook school with Swarna and Ross. I now feel much more confident about using spices and preparing the dishes that we learned about. The whole experience was very relaxed and we had the opportunity to taste our results over lunch and had plenty to take home. One small bit of feedback - it would be helpful if the recipes on the website could be updated to better match the food that we prepared on the day. It is difficult to remember everything! Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing day, such a great experience. Swarna was such a great Teacher and held our attention the whole time. I can't wait to start trying out all my new recipes.... who knew that you needed so few spices and seeds to make the most amazing food ever.... yes I bought the Spice Tin as well as some Tamarind and Poppadoms, but that was my choice and no pushy sales needed.

Outstanding experience. Learned a lot and had a really enjoyable time doing so. Swarna is a first class hostess and teacher. She engaged with everyone and kept energy in the kitchen from beginning to end. I received this as a gift and wasnt entirely sure about going as I was worried I was too inexperienced and would be out of my depth. This was not the case at all, and I discovered the course is possible for all abilities. I shocked myself by making some properly delicious food! Ross the KP was a fabulous help and that meant no veg prep or clearing up and Swarna could focus entirely on the class. And what a great bunch of people from all walks of life with Swarna encouraging everyone to chat over lunch with a beer. All in all, I have had a great day and left feeling enthused about trying it for myself at home. Superb job Swarna. Thankyou! Ian

Had a great time. Learned a lot. Swarna has a gift for teaching. The class was well designed beginning with making your own lunch and then following up with prepraing your take-away dinner. If you are thinking of gaining skills in Indian food this is great value for money

I had a wonderful day at the Kumar, Indian Cook School with the group. Swarna did a great job of explain the recipes and taking us through the cooking process. This has been most helpful giving me a better understanding of Indian Cuisine.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the cook school a wonderful fun experience with a group of 10. We made lots of great food with lots of support and learned lots of new cooking tips . Also lots of interesting spices to learn about and put to use. It was great value for money an experience I would recommend to all who like cooking and love Indian food. The facilities were amazing very organised and prepared for us all. A lovely young man ross who prepared and cleaned up after us which was very much appreciated . Of course our teacher was amazing praveens wife.
