A splendidly expressed piece of architecture in itself, the station itself, nevertheless, suffers from - to my limited mind/perceptions - helpful-but-then-"help!" directions. For its "WAY OUT" lies at the base of a cross-platform bridge with no word signage on display. Even though we had used...More

The pictures are of the hotel immediately beside the Railway station. Historically most stations had a hotel. The station itself was clean & tidy along with the usual amenities. We were on a Statesman Rail weekend & we rejoined our chartered train on Perth station...More

Bog standard Victorian railway station, serves the purpose it was built for. No frills here which is the norm in small city stations. It well sign posted, the toilets are clean and tidy, a costa coffee and a small shop. It's not Kings X so...More

On arrival at the station the staff were very friendly and helpful. Disabled access to platform two was excellent and all on the level. I am not a wheelchair user, but have limited mobility and use a stick. On retuning to Perth later that day...More

This station is a bit run down and need to be done up. It has history if you look it up. The town centre is a 10 minute walk.

I know this train station for over 50 years. It has changed a lot. It has had a lot of money spent on it. Why is it still so boring! Really... Gateway to the Highlands.... oh dear! Well I suppose it can only get better.......More

Unlike other railway stations in Scotland, Perth doesn't have a number of shops and cafes inside. Only just a Costa and a little shop to sell refreshments and magazines in, though it's just for passenger's convenience. Staff here are friendly and it's fairly easy to...More

Because I have difficulty in walking I decided to use the lift. This is situated at the far end of the station and as it was raining I got wet going to it and going from it to the covered part of the station. The...More

This is just an old, easily accessible typical Scottish railway station. You can enter area where the trains are without ticket, to take a photo and have a look. If you like trains and stations, come and visit. There are no many shops or things...More

I've always got a parking space at Perth station - which is odd because there is not much parking space, so I wonder if it is either very expensive or time limited. There are other car parks near the station. Have a look on... More
