What a surprise

We had no trouble finding the stones because we weren't looking for them, we stumbled on the on our way to Pitlochry. We enjoyed the setting and the pleasant surprise.

You have to have the right mind set to venture here. Please read the other reviews to piece together the direction clues to find this attraction in a farmer's field between Aberfeldy and Kenmore. It's easier to spot if you're driving from Kenmore to Aberfeldy and yes, the "parking" is by some trash cans! There is a gate you use... More

We stopped here and after finding the pull over for the cars next to the trash cans I did not see the fence to get to the circle and there were sheep having babies in the field so I just took photos from the road. I wasn't sure if it was on private property or not and didn't want to... More

Added a stop here to our itinerary - just to see what the fuss was about. Lol. Contrary to some of the reviews I read - I managed to find it no problem. We really enjoyed it. Read all the information displayed and took our time walking round and taking pictures. Only downside... typical Scottish weather... baltic & windy. Definitely... More

It was actually easier to find than we expected after reading the reviews. There is a sign at the end of the farmer's driveway identifying the place as Croft Moraig Farm. There is a lay by right after the driveway to pull over, it was slightly hidden by trash bins. The stone circle is right there and there is a... More

We drove around Loch Tay and found the stone circle near the farm of the same name. It was very close to the road and easy to access. We we're the only people there. The site is free to access and is worth the time if you are passing close by.

It is very hard to find and didn't even stop to view it once we found it. Signs need to be clearer for travellers trying to locate it

By chance, while returning from a visit to LochTay on June 21, 2015, I thought I saw some stones in a field by the road. We stopped. Several people were standing near the stones, some with outstretched hands. Only then did we realize that this was a Neolothic stone circle and today was the summer solstice. It was an incredible,... You need to look hard to find them but they are hidden in full view !! One you know where they are they are easily seen from the road. The farmer has put in a small lay-by but a row of dustbins threw us a bit. This needs more attention and explanation given to it. Road signage would help and... More

This stone circle was bigger than I expected, given people's reviews stating its "wee" size. It is small, but the circle is probably 15 feet across. It is very moving to see it and to imagine why it was created in the first place. There is a small plaque explaining its history. My husband and I clocked the distance. The... More
