Nothing better than a good old hike up Glennifer Braes with the dogs to blow away some cobwebs .........love it and the dogs love it even more - such a vast area with some excellent views.

Situated on the top of the north end of the Gleniffer Braes with a large car park this area provides lots of open air activities with walks, woodland, treks on open ground and a picnic area with a great view. Allow plenty of time to explore this park and your camera to record the views way across to the Campsie... More

Good play area with picnic benches. Amazing view of Clyde Valley. Plenty space to wander, walk your dog, play football etc. Only issue is that there are no toilet facilities so bear that in mind especially if you are going out for the day with the family.

One of the best ways to shake of the stresses of the day with a breezy walk on Gleniffer Brae. Lots of excellent parking, loads of walks and superb views over the extended Clyde Valley. Wellies or sturdy shoes or boots recommended. Pack a sandwich or sweetie as you can spend the time wandering.

The Country Park is easy to find with signs pointing the way. Once you drive up to the park, the view is wonderful. From 600 mtrs up all looks good.
