It has a Museum dedicated to the Paisley Weavers, and an actual dwelling where the Weavers Lived and Worked. Take the younger members of your Family so they can see what life was like in those times.

Visited with my son, he loved it and I love the fact that you get a wee glimpse into paisleys history with the cottages done up the way they are and with all their wee knickknacks, the volunteers are very friendly and tell you everything...More

tells a lot about the early history of the cotton and weaving industry. the cottages are well ehibited and the staff helpful and there is tea room - we did not visit.

The cottages provide a glimpse of an age not all that long ago. The small living quarters are furnished with time appropriate furniture and furnishings and the docents prove keen insight into the lives that were lived there.
