    Fun Afternoon!
What an absolutely fantastic experience. Went with six thirteen year olds for daughter’s birthday. The Abandined Academy Room was fun and challenging. Hosts, Gregor and Ryan were brilliant and personal. They are totally invested in making your time in the escape room as memorable as possible. We made it out with 3 minutes to spare! Thanks to a few clues from the headmaster! Great fun and we will be back - no need to venture to busy cities. We will return to experience the other rooms.

    The Auld Kirk
Back again to try out the new room and loved it. The decor was great and some right quirky puzzles we hadn't seen before. We even escaped 2nd best time!! Fantastic and well worth a visit. Will be back for the Christmas room :)

    Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely fantastic, well worth the money and a great experience. Fab staff who explain everything with a smile and humour. Reallly well designed and loved the link to a local tale. Will definitely be back to try the other rooms.

    The Reindeer's Arms
A great wee Christmas room (in fact the only one we can see available in Scotland!) which will be open til around February. As always with In Time great décor and fun, clever puzzles. Great storyline and as a family of 5 there was plenty to keep us all busy. Highly recommended

    A breath of fresh Ayr
Played Abandoned Academy and The Auld Kirk hosted by Gregor who is the owner and an enthusiast. Abandoned Academy is a theme we haven't done before (~50-60 rooms). It transports you back to an old school and the props and decor really help with the immersion (huge chalkboard, single wooden desks etc.). A playful hint system (should you wish to get help from the 'teacher') further takes you back to school. The puzzles have a nice range of difficulties and all are in keeping with the theme. A couple of the puzzles may even teach you something new, proving that every day really is a school day. The Auld Kirk also transports you back in time a wee bit further to the story of Tam o' Shanter. A spookier theme than the school but not in a scary sense (i.e. it's family friendly and no jump scares). Again, the puzzles are all in keeping with the theme and help bring this game to life (unlike some of the deceased you share the room with). Initially unassuming, this room slowly reveals itself and pleasingly concludes the Tam o' Shanter 'tale'. Both games hit the sweet spot in terms of time taken to solve (54 mins/1 hint for Abandoned Academy and 56 mins/0 hints for The Auld Kirk) making for a satisfying afternoon of escaping In Time. Gregor was a great host and is clearly an enthusiastic owner and player who was happy to talk escape rooms afterwards and give recommendations.

Whilst visiting our daughter in Ayr she arranged for us to have a try at this escape room experience and we enjoyed it immensely .The room had a vast array of licks which needed opening in order to progress and using clues which were scattered throughout the room made this really exciting .The time limit of one hour made sure we all used our brains to get out of the room and more by luck than judgement we got out with just 2 seconds to spare
