Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The falls are easy to get to and don't require much walking. There is parking for about four cars right next to the falls.
Watch out for slippy wet grass near the canyon edge as the falls produce water mist. Well worth a visit, it's just past Dalcairney farm that is first left off the Dalmellington to Straiton road, the farm is about a mile down a windy single track road. I went to see it when there had been heavy rain

Well worth a 30min walk from the road. Park at the Doon Bridge. Some nice highland cattle in the surrounding fields.

Beautiful waterfall, steep walk down to the falls from the road and can be a bit unsteady under foot but beautiful scenery around.

I would say around a 45 minute walk from the Doon bridge, the last 10 minutes or so being quite a steep incline. The descent down to view the waterfall is also very steep and not great underfoot, but worth it as the falls themselves are beautiful.
