    Lovely venue
Our first time at this lovely theatre will definitely not be our last. Comfortable seats well organised and very friendly staff. Came to see talon who were just brilliant. Acoustics very good . Well stocked bar that was not too expensive.

Wide variety of live entertainment, nice local theatre to visit
I always enjoy visiting the nice area of Ayr & this venue for some live music. Located in the heart of the town centre so easy to get to. They offer a wide variety of live entertainment so there's always something going on for everyone to check out. Show tickets, drinks & ice creams priced competitively. Pleasant staff & comfy seating. Was recently here again while on a week's trip travelling throughout Scotland to see Talon, an amazing Eagles tribute band. Look forward to returning to this theatre next time I'm in the area.

    The BEST Panto by far!
My partner & I went to 8 pantos this year, and the Gaiety was by far the BEST! First time ever visiting this theatre and will definitely be back, infact we did, for a second time to see the same panto. We’ve highly recommended this theatre to all our friends and family. Amazing show, fantastic cast & FOH staff, and the two ugly sisters were just hilarious. Welldone team Gaiety.

The Gaiety On Tour... Ae Fond Kiss... Brilliant
We went to see this at The Quay Zone in Girvan. "We" Being myself, my 12 year old daughter and her bestie. We laughed, cried and sang along. Most excellently staged and performed. The girls loved every second, as did I.

    Superb venue! Great entertainment!
Fantastic venue for a night out! The volunteer-run theatre is in great condition and the seats comfy if a little snug! They always have a mixed programme on offer across the year so plenty to go and enjoy. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bar is more than adequate. I didn’t use the attached small space theatre or the cafe. Parking can be an issue as the car park ( ticket required and card payment only) is full of potholes you could lose a car in! Don’t know who owns the car park but they need to spend a bit of cash on it. It’s got ANPR cameras controlling it so a word of caution about skipping payment as there are no barriers.

I've ate in most restaraunts in Ayr and this is by far the best value for money. The food is right up there with more expensive restaraunts I've ate in up and down the country and the prices are very modest. The chefs are very good at what they do, presentation is also firstThe celeriac soup was delicious and the little brioche buns that accompanied lit were so soft and tasty. The sea bass was very nice. I've never had a bad feed in this place and will continue to return.
