If you love golf and know the history this is a must play golf course. I loved it from the first tee which has a fairway that seems about as wide as a bowling alley. You got to play this one!More

Sure, there are more historic tracts and even more beautiful layouts, but this is a must play on any golfer's bucket list. A member at Western Gailes referred to Prestwick as Disneyland, I guess forgetting that Old Tom Morris predated Walt by nearly a century....More

Loved it. Blind shots , challenging greens, manageable rough. Played from proper tees, it is a return to what golf was when it really began in 19th century. As a senior golfer it was great fun.
