Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our kid (3 years old) really loved the playground, it is big and has plenty of different toys. It is close to the dunes and the beach

Was stopping to go down on the beach to enjoy the water. Spotted the large adventure play area. This is an absolutely fantastic community and visitor facility for your kids. If you are on the island drop by enjoy the beach and the play area.

Amazing playground, if you are visiting the island and have children I would recommend you visit here. We have a 1 and a 3 year old who had a brilliant time. There are so many different parts to the play area, and they would suit all ages. It was very quiet when we visited but the local children we did meet were all very friendly. There is a small kiosk selling tea, coffee and snacks, but I don’t think it is open all the time. Such a good find!

Hands down the coolest playground I have ever been too. We spent a week staying nearby and went there nearly every day. It’s breathtaking - on one side there’s an incredible beach and on the other side fields with cows and sheep. It’s so big you could spend hours there, as we did. We travelled from London and would pretty much have travelled back just for that

There are quite a few mentions in the reviews here that toilets were not installed during the time of folks' visits. I can now confirm there's a brand new facility with disabled access and baby changing. All that's asked for is a 30p contribution.
It's to be noted that the toilet is only open when the snack kiosk next door is also open (holidays and Saturdays) due to the fact this is a volunteer organisation and cannot be manned every day.

Amazing to find this little gem in such a remote location.

Our children loved it and there were lots of things to keep all ages happy - some of it even fun for adults! Super walks on the dunes and beach.

Integration into the local environment makes it really unique

Really good couple of hours with our children (5 and 3 years old) discovering each of the new playground activities over each rise of the sand dunes.

Exceptionally well kept grounds and very clean and tidy.
A small shop was open from 11AM until 4PM selling hot drinks, small snacks and couple of other items. This also unlocks a toilet (request for 30p donation).

I got the impression that opening times may vary at weekends and I’d be surprised if they open in the winter months.

10 minute walk to the beach which looked like a favourite with dog walkers.

This a well designed community play park in the sand dunes close to the beach. Lots of activities for both younger and older kids. Plenty of rabbit burrows in the sand dunes ! Will definitely return.

Brilliant large playground, suitable for young and older kids. Location is perfect in amongst the sand dunes, and once the kids have finished playing for a bit it is a short walk down to the beach. (Note no toilets currently)

Blown away by the colour of the sea the extent of the silver sand across the bay and the high dunes. One might have been in Florida as the breakers crashed, foaming white across the rocks. A great place for meditation or to run, or simply play.
