Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing day we had with Andrew from Wildlife on Mull. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour and great tea and coffee and shortbread. We learned a lot about Mull and its wildlife. Its an absolutely magic island. We saw otters, white tailed eagle and golden eagle, seals, rutting red deer stags, herons and more. One of the highlights of our recent trip to Scotland.

Wow! What a day! Andrew picked us up in his comfortable people carrier and we set off around the Isle of Mull in search of local wildlife. The vehicle was well stocked with binoculars, high powered spotting scopes, tea, coffee and shortbread. Andrew's knowledge of the Island came into it's own as he was able to take us to places where we would be more likely to spot the wildlife, and did we spot them! We saw white tailed sea eagles, a golden eagle, otters, red and fallow deer, buzzards, kestrels and a hen harrier. Andrew was so very patient, explaining about the animals, the history of the island and his view on the ecological balance of the Island. We felt very privileged to see this wonderful place with the guidance of a very passionate, welcoming, experienced guide. If ever you come to the Isle of Mull make sure you book a trip with Andrew. It's a fabulous experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Andrew, seeing white tailed and golden eagles, sea otters and red deer. Andrew went out of his way to find these animals and to help us to see them and we were impressed with his breadth and depth of knowledge. I would highly recommend it!

We spent a wonderful day with Andrew on a private tour. Andrew checked what was on our wish list to see and delivered on them all. Andrew is very experienced, knowledgeable and explained lots about Mull and it's wildlife and was always ready to answer our questions.

Thank you Andrew for a spectacular day! We saw golden and white-tailed eagles with fledglings, otters with their cubs, red deer, seals, and many other shorebirds. Andrew knew where they usually were, and has a keen eye for seeing the eagles in the sky! He’s passionate about his guiding and we truly appreciated his knowledge and experience. Wishing Andrew a successful career! He made our trip to Mull a wonderful experience if not the best we’ve had on our Scotland holiday!

Thank you Andrew for a great trip around Mull. Andrew took us to all the best places to see White Tailed Eagles, Golden Eagles and lots of other species of Wildlife. Sadly the Otter remained elusive so we will have to come back to see one. Great company on board the mini bus and a vast knowledge from Andrew. You made our day special

We did a day tour with Andrew from Wildlife on Mull and had a great day out.
He was very knowledgeable and we saw a lot of wildlife that we would never have found on our own - especially the white-tailed eagles. The highlight for me was definitely the otters - we were lucky enough to see four over the course of the day.
You need to take a packed lunch and drink to see you through the day, but he did provide hot drinks (and even shortbread!). I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is interested in wildlife.

Had a great trip round Isle of Mull with Andrew. He was a fantastic and friendly host showing us round the island enabling us to see close up Otters, White Tailed Eagles and their young, as well as Red Deer. Andrew explained a lot of the things to look out for which we can use in the future, as well as lots of information about the fabulous Island and it’s history. Great day out and well recommended for the start of your holiday.

Highly recommended! Andrew picked us from the ferry at Fishnish ( we’re staying in Lochaline). He took us to many varied places on the island to see a variety of wildlife. Mull is a beautiful island with so much to see. Andrew has the local knowledge where to go at what time, to maximise wildlife sightings.
His van is spacious and comfortable. He has binoculars for us to use and a couple of high powered telescopes that greatly improved our views of the wildlife. It was also lovely that he provided tea/coffee/biscuits.
Highlights of the day were sightings of white tailed eagle and a chick on the nest, an otter hunting and then out of the water eating the fish it had just caught, deer, seals and many coastal birds. Andrew has a great knowledge of the natural world and we learned a lot today.
We would definitely return to do another trip with Andrew.

I can show you both golden eagles and sea eagles, hen harriers and otters and lots of other wildlife, however puffins only nest on the Treshnish isles around Mull and not until a little later
