We booked a family beach trek and had a wonderful experience. Liz and her helpers were so patient and well organised and, as novice riders, we felt very safe and well looked after. The ponies were calm and gentle and the scenery was incredible. We won’t forget the feeling of the ponies splashing through the shallow water on the beach in the sun as a sea eagle soared overhead! Thank you for a great experience.

This is our second year running having a family beach trek with Liz and her beautiful Highland Ponies. Yet again this was an absolute highlight of our stay on Mull. We spent around two hours or more getting to help and learning how to groom the ponies, tack them up and then riding them and looking after them afterwards. Liz never makes you feel rushed, is so friendly and approachable and accommodating. The ponies look so well cared for and have the most beautiful natures too. My daughter was thrilled to experience herdream of riding Fell pony, Leon, who is now a firm favourite. I have absolutely no doubt we will be back again next year, and hopefully we can fit a hill ride in too.

Had a wonderful exhilarating canter along the beach this morning on Jack. It was a wonderful time racing through the water and Jack is a very responsive ride; can’t wait to return on Wednesday when I’ve another ride booked at this trekking centre. Unfortunately I didn’t see the white tailed eagle but fingers crossed I might see one Wednesday, either way it was a thrilling experience as I’ve not ridden for a couple of years.

I had a brilliant sea loch ride out with Lizzie and her team of helpers.
I really enjoyed meeting and getting familiar with the ponies before the ride. Lizzie and her team were all true horse people, loving there horses and their characters.
All the ponies were in good condition with calm disposition.
Lizzie was super knowledgeable about her ponies and their particular riding requirements. Safety was well considered with neck grab straps and toe cages fitted on the stirrups.
The clients were of mixed abilities but Lizzie easily split the group to allow the ones happy to canter along the receding tide line, to have an exhilarating blast along the beach.
Fording the river Ba on and off the loch beach was comical with the ponies splashing, drinking and eating available seaweed as a quick nutritious snack.
We even saw the white tail sea eagles who were nesting not far from the ponies field.
Thoroughly enjoyed my ride on the solid Clansman.

Absolutely love Mull Pony trekking it's the first activity I book every single time. Lizzie is superb at tailoring the pony to the rider. The ponies are absolutely fantastic and look after their rider, always going at a pace suited to the riders ability. My little girl adores Storm, Murphy always takes care of my husband and I have ridden most of the ponies and always had the loveliest ride. A great place to spot the Eagles and sealife. No matter if you go up the hill for the spectacular view or whizzing across the beach, you will have the most amazing experience and have the most amazing holiday memories if you ride here.

My two girls, ages 5 znd 6 absolutely loved their trek with Liz, Storm and Jack. Liz was fantastic with them and so friendly. The horses were in excellent condition and obviously very well looked after.
Great experience so much so the girls are asking to go again before the end of our holiday !!

Had a beach trek with Liz and her gorgeous highland ponies. The weather was wonderful. Liz made sure everyone felt safe and confident. The horses were gorgeous and really friendly.

We had the most fantastic beach trek with Liz today. Liz is a lovely, kind and knowledgeable lady with wonderful ponies. Our trek was just the two of us and it felt really special. I loved getting to know Liz and a bit about Mull life! We rode Muscari and Murphy and both were extremely gentle and went at the pace we wanted. We were also lucky enough to see a white tailed eagle just sat on the beach! We hope to return to Mull and will definitely book another trip. We would recommend to anyone wanting to see a beautiful side of Mull and lots of wildlife.

We took our 3.5 year old for the Shetland pony ride and it was the highlight of her holiday! She has a great time grooming and riding Storm and loved going in the sea. Can not recommend enough 😊
