Yet another visit to this wonderful bay. There is limited parking which has now been extended to include a small field. (If you use this field don't forget to give a donation which goes to helping a family in Nepal whose home was swept away...More

On such a beautiful day we had to visit Calgary Bay -and what a beautiful beach! It was very busy and it was not easy to park, but we managed it and had a picnic on one of the tables. The walk along the beach...More

I don't really want to sing Calgary Bay's praises or tell you about the white sandy beach, the beautiful views and the clear blue salty water as then too many people will go and it won't be my secret place. It is an amazing child...More

Beautiful sandy, flat, open beach. Great at sunset. Perfect for dogs to run. There is a little icecream cafe there, but we arrived too late to buy anything.

This place is simply stunning. It was raining cats and dogs during our last visit, but it didn't stop us enjoying an angle down to the old pier.

As with most places in Mull, the road access if not the best, but the journey has to be worthwhile as the beach is purportedly one of the best on Mull. Whilst not a beach person myself, I can see the attraction for those that...More

Lovely clean beach for a walk, for kids to play and to walk dogs. Also a wild camping area to the south of the beach which is well used but does not intrude on the beach area. Car park a bit tricky on a busy...More

We were lucky enough to be on Mull during a warm spell, so we headed for Calgary beach. Wow! It is just like being on a Mediterranean beach except that the water is freezing! We did sunbathe, but only paddled our feet as the water...More

Calgary Bay is beautiful - a sweep of white sand and turquoise sea - and on a sunny day it is just glorious. The car parks are free, the ice cream hut opened at noon and provided excellent local ice creams. It was quiet when...More

Forget going to Tobermory (nice coloured houses/buildings, and that's it!) and carry on to Calgary Bay - well worth the effort for the beautiful beach and sands. Ok, road to Bay is not the easiest (B class road), but patience rewarded. Go
