Enjoyed the climb and the views are stunning. It can be a bit tricky in places so you need sensible clothes and footwear. Definitely worth doing on your trip!

Strongly recommend to take the hike up the mountain...will be extremely fulfilling! Amazing views 360 degrees. If sunny bring water with u and the hike should be no more than 1 h medium difficulty. Once up is mesmerizing 😍

We enjoyed our hike, however, didn't get all the way up to the top as we were with our children (3 and 6). Had we not been with children, we could have made it to the top. We did find this hike quite a bit...More

Old Man of Storr is a much visited walk. Be there early if you need a parking place! The walk itself is not so difficult if you only go up the the Old Man and back, but you can also go to the real top...More

We hiked up the trail to the Old Man of Storr today. And it was totally worth it. With the beautiful weather the view onto the Old Man itself and down to the loch were simply fantastic. The path is about 2.5km in one direction...More

Another great hike on the Isle of Skye. Really enjoyed the hike. The hike is a slow & steady incline until you reach the landmark. However, the main point of interest (the old man) can be seen within a few minutes of the hike so...More

It is not an easy hike. It gets very steep near the top and it should probably only be done on a nice day. If it is rainy or wet I would avoid, or at least only go as far as the gravel path. once...More

My friend and i are not really hikers. The opposite of it actually. But this challenged us and intrigued us to walk to the top. Around 45 minutes going up at a relaxed pace. And 30 minutes going down. Amazing 360 degree view!! No matter...More

The old man of storr is by far my favourite of the isle of skye. It is about a 45 minute walk to get to the top, having to walk over rocks and uneven ground. But when you get to the top the view is...More

My wife and I just went up today. It took her 1.5 hours return at 72 and not a hill walker. For me it is 1.25 hours.
