This is a beautiful hike, no doubt. I found parts of the path very rocky so I would recommend good, sturdy hiking shoes or boots and a hiking pole. All views were amazing and worth going to the end. It was well worth my time.

As you set out toward Boreraig, do take your time to visit the wonderfully romantic cemetary of Killchrist. Then, on the path that will lead you to reconstructed native flora, do have a look over your shoulder and look back at the Black Cuillen!
