Have no fear, there are no snakes or creatures in the water. It is nice and calm but murky and cannot see the bottom.

Easy parking to see the Wailua River Overlook. Signage is located on the Overlook that explains this great river and its importance. Have fun and stay safe.

Very worthwhile visitng this park. Beware of the roosters and hens, whcih are PLENTIFUL in every parking lot!

We didn't have time to take in all the river-based activities but did view the river from a scenic overlook and viewed the Opaeka'a Falls. Very accessible from the main road to the east.

Great place to visit. Parking is a little hard to get. Just enjoy the scenery. We also have near the vicinity a Sacred site. The Poliahu Heiau

Loved taking a boat trip to this park. Nice walkways, waterfalls and all around fun place to go. Just walk around and take in the sights and relax.
