stayed in this hotel last weekend as a birthday treat with my family. although the hotel is undergoing refurbishment it was quite pleasant and some of the rooms that the family shared were better than others, but this can be overlooked for the moment. there was a holloween disco on Saturday evening which led to a lot of chaos in... We all travelled to Woodstock not having played here for more than 5 years. It's a Christy O'Connor designed course. Christy believed in making courses where your average/good golfer could make a score. Woodstock is on a lovely stretch of Irish farmland and it has matured beautifully, lots of trees, and very interesting holes. We enjoyed a wonderful round on... More

A very good golf course. Some fairly difficult holes especially from the 6th to the 8 the stretch. You'll need most of the clubs in your bag to get around!

This is a challenging course though not too difficult for amateurs like me. There is a hole; a raised dogleg left for the big hitters, and straight then left for the likes of me. Most fairways are forgiving.

This is beautiful course especially during summer months. Par 3's can be a bit of a challenge but great feeling if you manage to birdie one or two. Course is good for low as well as high handicappers. It is definitely worth a visit if in Ennis area.
